Very old fashioned got stuck outside for 10 mins waiting for the night porter to answer the door at 11.30PM, not that late really. Would have prefered a key!. check in a bit too late 3.00pm but was told all hotels were same in skagness but still thought half a day was wasted.Heater was too mild and lot of cold air was blowing wich indeed came in room even when it was closed. Lift very small.Situated on a very noisy road junction. Coach parties staying in the hotel took up most of the staff's time and overwhelmed the number of staff available. I want a smoking room. Breakfast was very very small, all was served to table - we were in an 'overflow' room . Only one small cup of coffee! No pot! Breakfast menu said orange, cereal, breakfast and toast, but never got fruit juice -waiting staff served small cereal! Ordered tomato and bacon, got half rasher bacon and one half of tomato in middle of huge plate. Was £37 per night!. Television reception reception and noise booked monday to fri leftwednesday had enough. The in room ents is prehistoric. Breakfast was disapointing. possibly updated, better showering facilities. no hair dryer, limited food on breakfast, shower very dated!. uncomfortable beb,breakfast too small-thought i got childs portions!. The bed had seen better days i would not put it in to a hostel.
