The room was cleam and not as small as one would expect in Central London. There was hot water and loads of pressure in the shower, unlike in so many hotels we've stayed in London before! The full English breakfast with cereals, juice, coffee and tea was a good way of starting the day. On top of this there was tea and coffee facilities in the room. The location with several tubes and busses all around London was great and the staff helpful in all our requests like early check-in, borrowing an .

I stayed with my Mum and two teenage children in a room with 4 single beds and small en suite. The room was spacious enough for us, 2 large windows which opened fully for fresh air. All in all an excellent value hotel great to use as a base to explore London. I liked the price , I booked the room online and got it for half the price of other hotels in the area . the breakfast was excellent . the staff were only too pleased to help . I met the manager on my departure and he was genuinely friendly and really helpful . Although the room was small, typical in London, it was clean and comfortable, with hot shower water. The staff provided extra pillows when asked. Breakfast was a surprise as the basement room was light, staff very cheery and a cooked breakfast available. Location was excellent, close to Hyde Park Oxford street, & quiet at night. Cooked English breakfast was great & filling, set us up well for the day. Staff were friendly & helpful. Overall highly recommended. the hotel was 5 minutes from Paddington tube station. only 15 minute work from oxford street.The breakfast was very good. The staff were friendly and I would use it again while in London. Your Receptionist, Patrick, was extremely helpful and we really appreciated his assistance. Doors requires renovation. The shower pressure was very low but that's something you have to deal with when booking a budget hotel. In addition the room and the bathroom could have been cleaned more properly (in the corners for example). All the rest is a bit surreal, but if you are in the mood to abdicate all the day to day basic luxuries (a proper bathroom) give it a go!!!. En-suite in the quad room was extremely small. Windows a little draughty. The smell of the breakfast is very hard,. We had a leak in our cealing because of the people above us showering and dont using the shower curtain. water leaked through the flower right on our bed. Reported it to the staff and we got another room. Wich was even beter infact a + point. Don't recommend room 1 if you want to sleep a bit longer as it's located right beside the breakfast room!. On the morning of check out the male housekeeper opened the door without knocking. After saying we were still in and pushing the door back he opened it again asking when we would check out and asking for a tip. When getting dressed in the morning this is not a what you would like to have. Creaky floorboards. Bathroom little small. Renovations started at 8am just down stairs from our room. Breakfast needed some fruit option. small bed for 2 persons.
