A very friendly welcome, comfortable accommodation, super breakfast and overall a very pleasant stay.Excellent service with the personal touch, great choice of breakfast, home made cakes and the marmalade was divine. Bathroom - outdated. the matress in the garden room. difficult to find. not very friendly , this guesthouse manages convey that it is doing its guests a favour by allowing them to pay to say there. the car park is difficult to exit owing to extremely limited turning space. The hotel is really a guest house and should be described as such, just a point I am not one for sitting around a single table with lots of other people for breakfast.Lack of welcome - staff more concerned with filling out of forms than with letting me put my bags down and just being grateful I had arrived!. I asked for a double room and ended up with a Twin bedroom. In the mornig i discovered a damp patch and a leak in the corner of the bedroom.
