The staff were very friendly and accomodating from the start. Staff helping with the luggage up the stairs was a nice suprise. The bed was one of the most comfortable i've slept on. The price was good. Option to leave bags in storage area. Breakfast included. Free wi-fi. Shower in room. Location close to shops, beach and historic sites. Safe area. Design was nice. Clean room. All the staff were friendly, I was travelling alone and felt safe & secure here. On checking in I was given an emergency number that I could call 24hours - was told that if I got lost finding hostel at night they will help. This was very good. Wifi was available throughout hostel. The cleanliness was to a very high standard.

If I had the chance again I'd stay there again. one of the best hostels i have been too, for the little touchs, free fresh clean towel, on your freshly made bed each morning. Nice selection of breakfast. Good, well manned reception. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, we were left to do as we pleased, they kept our bags after we had checked out so we could spend our last day out without hassle. Location,location,location,So,So perfect .central .all of Brighton is within a very short walking distance .very friendly staff ,very clean bedding. Free organised dinner in the evening, friendly personnel and great location!. Minor thing The doors of the ensuite shower could be a solid colour instead of smokey transparent to add privacy. On a personal note I found it difficult coming back at night and trying to find my things in the dark. This is not a mark against Kipps, just the nature of sleeping in a dorm room. Nothing :-). The shower water pressure was too low ,just not quite enough to enjoy the experience !. Couldn,t fault hotel actually, but the weather was another thing , It was appalling when I was there. /. The bed was creaking, nevertheless this is a very minuscule flaw. i liked it all. Sharing toilet. the bed. Shared bathroom: The top floor one is really small and moist. An old house and floors are not straight.
