The location, the landlady, the fact that they offered us vegetarian breakfast, the bathroom. I liked the room and facilities in it as well as the breakfast. Friendly lady in charge. Friendly owner/manager and excellent location - very close to beach and pier. Friendly staff, great location, excellent breakfast and surprisingly quiet. - From the M25 motorway, head south on the M23 to Brighton.

- Grand Pier Guest House is located in Madeira Place, approximately 100 metres down, on the left-hand side.

By Train:
The guest house is 0.6 miles (one km) from Brighton railway station. Taxis are readily available from just outside the station. Brighton has excellent rail links, with express services from London Victoria reaching the city in just 50 minutes. There are also regular trains to and from Chichester to the west and Hastings to the east.
