What people say
We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it and come back. The owners are really friendly and helpful and let us leave our bags after we checked out so that we could still enjoy a full day without our luggage. The location was perfect, 2 seconds from the beach and the start of the shops, yet the street was quiet and calm. The room was light, immaculate and with a lovely French window. The bed was very comfy and the ensuit was great too. Definitely the classiest seaside guest ho. all reviews »
The owners were fantastic and even stopped my car from getting a parking
ticket, and emailed me to let me know I'd left an item of clothing
behind, which they kindly posted for me.......thank you. The room was
bigger than I expected and the location is right in the heart of
Brighton. If I visit Brighton again I will definitely use this guest
house again, so I guess that statement says everything about my stay
without waffling on......
Scott and Helen made us feel incredibly welcome from the moment we walked in the door. The room in which we stayed was warm, comfortable and very clean and the hotel was very central with very easy access to shopping and the beach. Thank you Scott and Helen for a lovely first stay to Brighton. We will certainly be back.
The room was beautifully clean, modern and light. We had a complimentary selection of fruit, breakfast bars and various hot drinks included at no extra charge and were refreshed each day. The wifi was reliable and the owners were very friendly. I would love to stay again.
Very relaxed atmosphere, we quite liked the fact that we could have breakfast in the room and not have to go and eat with strangers! The room was light, airy and stylish. It was nice to be able to sit and look out of the window down to the sea.
The location was perfect. Just a short walk to the pier, and also located within walking distance of restaurants, shops and parks. It was a very well maintained guest house. Very clean and updated.
There wasn't anything to dislike at all, the couple Scott & Helen were friendly, the location was superb, the rooms were beautifully furnished/clean...it was brilliant.
David & Lauren.
Clean, comfortable room in great location for the Brighton Wheel and Pier. The heart of Brighton is a few minutes walk. Owner Scott was welcoming, helpful and available when needed.
Our room was gorgeous and the hole hotel was beautifully decorated and well looked after. The owners were so kind and nothing was too much. Couldn't recommend it highly enough!.
Good facilities in room
Very clean
Friendly owners
Great location, close to sights and shopping in Brighton
Breakfast basket with fruit every day.
The owners were really friendly and welcoming. Every aspect of the stay went smoothly. Room was beautiful and clean.
Owners were lovely and helpful. Rooms were clean and had everything needed.
Quiet, convenient, friendly and great location. Thanks for a wonderful stay!.
Spacious room, which had been recently decorated.. Pleasure to stay in.
Everything else.
Everything!!.
My only gripe was the shower as I prefer a power shower, but that
is only down to personal preference and should not be considered
a negative.
Really, our stay delivered everything we wanted in a short city break.
The shower was a little confusing to set up, but once it was set, there were no further problems.
A bit noisy at night but this wouldn't stop us from staying again.
Our stay was during the 'hot' season, so we had to leave the windows open at night. There is a pub on the corner not to far from the guest house which added a little noise at night. Earplugs did the trick and we had a great night's sleep.
Nothing to dislike! :).
You may have to park a few streets away. The staircases are narrow in these older buildings and there is no elevator, so be aware of this. Some street noise on Friday and Saturday night, but not bad really.
Seagulls...but that was out of the hands of the hotel owners!.
Beds were a little too squishy and pillows weren't particularly comfortable. This is completely down to personal preference though.
Nothing at all to complain about!.
A it noisy late at night and into early hours.
Nothing.
