friendly, no fuss, good standards, convenient location. Lovely room excellent breakfast friendly staff. Friendly and helpful staff. Location - mile from University (who charge double this price for similar accommodation!) and easy walk to Cannon Hill Park. Friendly staff, clean room, large areas outside of room to relax, watch tv. Great base camp, for getting out and going places.
all reviews » Didn't stint on the heating, so beautifully warm in a cold and frosty February. Plenty of hot water and comfortable bed. Pleasant staff, clean room with desk, internet _available_, good cooked breakfast. went to see boyzone in the nec. The interior in the halls. Cheap and Cheerful. It was very clean and comfortable with good accessible parking.Tea making facilities, comfortable bed. Staff very friendly and helpful. the staff is very hospitality. Convenience to University. Payment on arrival meant quick departure.bed was comfortable. only one on available for where we wanted to be. Breakfast buffet was ok. Not much. There was a rail with hangers, but no cupboard, wardrobe or even a drawer. The tv was almost on the ceiling, so I had to stand on the bed to watch it. The room was cheap, so no complaints. The hotel was excellent value for money, but if attention had been paid to all sorts of silly little details, then it would have appeared even better. I speak as someone who also provides accommodation.It is right on a busy road, and the traffic noise could be a problem. Also the room was on the small side, but otherwise it was fine. The bath because of the sewage system (water did not go through). The hotel wa a biy like Fawlty Towers in a quirky way it was nice, the staff had personality, not the usual robots you get in the larger chains. I was based in the annexe and found the key pad door not particularly easy. One day my room was not cleaned or made up at all, and on another the waste bin was not emptied. The wi-fi signal in the annexe was very low and sometimes not usable.Shower too hot. No restaurant, although advertised as having one. the room is a little small, no wireless service to offer, but booking say it has. Room very cramped, in attic space.the breakfast was not good as i would have expected and there was no cooked breakfast on the sunday. no light bulb in lamp. Difficult to find, small room, bathroom not so comfortable/clean, payment at check in. In coach house not hotel, decoration was poor, exits did not meet fire regulations, only 1 glass in double room, wet towels were refolded and put on bottom of bed, no clean towels, noise from main road was poor, bathroom tiny and large window to car park meaning blinds had to be closed at all times, shower temperature difficult to regulate, burnt body, breakfast was poor, 1 rasher of bacon and 1 egg. Requested evening meal not available; room cold; shower did not work;manager appeared drunk.

M5 Motorway
Exit the motorway at junction 4 and follow the signs for the A38, Bristol Road, this will lead through Northfield and Selly Oak. As you reach Selly Oak you will come to a main set of traffic lights, keep going straight on, down the Bristol Road, passed Birmingham University, until you see signs for BBC Pebble Mill. Turn right following the signs into Pebble Mill road and turn right at the end onto the Pershore road A441. Travel up the Pershore road for approx half a mile , where we are located on the right hand side (four flags are flying on the hotel car park).

M6 Motorway
Exit the motorway at junction 6 & follow the signs for the A38M, follow the A38, where you will travel through the Queensway tunnels. As you exit the tunnels move into the left hand lane by Bristol Street Motors, to turn left at the main traffic lights at Bristol road. You will come to a large roundabout, turn right, taking the third exit to the A441 Pershore road. Travel up the Pershore road going straight over the traffic lights. You will pass Pebble Mill studios on your right, continue straight on for approx half a mile, where we are located on the right hand side (four flags are flying on the hotel car park).

M42 Motorway
Exit the motorway at junction 2 and follow the signs for the A441 Pershore road. Follow the signs through Kings Norton and Cotteridge. Go straight over the roundabout at Kings Norton, till you approach two small roundabouts at Cotteridge. Go straight over the first roundabout and turn right at the second roundabout. Continue down the Pershore road going through Stirchley, continue passed the fitness centre on the right for approx 1 mile, where we are located on the left hand side (four flags are flying on the hotel car park).
