Great location for everything .... very close to the skyrail If you get to spend a few days in Bangkok, please book the tours directly at the hotel. The people there have a great value for money and are very flexible, putting you a personal package together. We ended up having their driver Bondit for 2 days straight, as we were so very pleased with his service. What a great guide as well as genuing person showing you the real Thailand, not just the tourist attractions.

The hotel is obviously trying to be a standout hotel. Friendly staff, good restaurant, very good position at 5 minutes walking to BTS Nana Station and good restaurants choice on Sukhumvit Soi5, I liked a lot their city tour and airport taxi service (very friendly staff). We waited a too long time after check in and before having our key. I had to leave. Very expensive prices at the bar and at the pool. To reach the hotel you've got take a walk up a narrow crowded street, with sidewalks missing in places, but it's a minor issue. When we used the swimming pool the noise arround the hotel was not good. A bit annoying because have a lot of constructions arround there. The carpet and TV are old and required to be repalced. apart from the newly refurbished lobby, the rooms were old and could do with a facelift. The access to the hotel by road is extremely cumbersome and slow, every time I had to leave by car I lost at least two hours in the traffic jams and ultra complex pattern of access of the surroundings - one for leaving and the second for coming back later. I thought I was booking a suite,turned out to be a small room with a king size bed.They had one cook who needed more training on how to cook breakfast food.(food was not done). Bathroom - could do with refurbishment NB this was a very minor negative point!. can not think of any issues or problems. Room 1506, which was our room, was noisy due of some maintenance next to our door!,.,. nothing as such. no hairdryer in the room. although central, not known by taxi drivers, but it is on the street opposite of Landmark hotel (known by everybody), easy to give directions to drivers. The location is a bit of a problem - traffic is consistently bad (I think this is the case for most of Bangkok). As a tourist walking the street I was often harassed to purchase items or for a taxi, etc. There is also not many tourist sites to see around this area - they are about an hour drive (in peak hour traffic) away. I would only recommend this area for business. I didn t like only two things: 1. if you ask them help for arrange a taxi for bring you to the airport, they will cheat you about the price. they charge you 200 bath more for nothing. better to walk 100 meter in the street and pick up a taxi by yourself ! 2. not enough sport machine in the fitness room. long walk from nana station (get a tuk tuk) not many westerners as guests tad pricey for the value proposition offered. Pool closes early at night. A bit dirty outside as building constructions is on going. Nothing- all good. the wi fi very week and not suitable also the pax left was so slow. Phone broken on arrival Bathroom fan not working Music on ground floor too loud sometimes And rap music unsuitable!. nothing. need to look at renovating bathrooms. Letting taxi drivers tout inside the hotel, expensive mini bar for Thailand, Pool shuts at 7. None. Though the location ideally suited for shopping, the access to the hotel is very narrow road. Only two small elevator and very slow. Frequently and having a very small ants in the bathroom and in some locations the room. Location is a bit far from Nana BTS station.
