We loved everything about this hotel, we booked a room with a balcony which was just lovely, we had a view to the mountains. The room was extremely clean and well kept. Staff were great the lady in the breakfast room was very attentive! Breakfast was very nice with a basket of pastries, cereal, toast, yoghurt, fresh fruit and juice and cold meats. The bedding and pillows were the most comfortable I've had in a hotel for a long time. The hotel was in a quiet area close to the station it was situ.

I stayed at two beds room with my older child, and the room had a great space. I really love the bathroom was located in the back of bed room going through a door and a short hallway space. Not a complaint, but the most direct way from the train station is through a flight of 70+ steps. We found later that if you go via the shopping street, we could push our bags up the slope instead. Highly recommend this route if you have heavy bags.. Did not notice any control over ventilation in room; if temperatures were not modest maybe this would be an issue. But not a serious problem for this visit. Although we had a fan in our room, central Europe was experiencing a bit of a heatwave and air conditioning would have been welcomed!. The hotel has no bar or restaurant and also no good restaurants or supermarkets near the hotel. After 8 p.m. all was closed. It's uncomfortable. Very small elevator for people & luggage. I thought it was a bit over priced , but then again Switzerland is very expensive ,. The deco is a bit dated. The Hotel was good complete with free parking. However getting to the Hotel by car can be a nightmare. the hotel may be well placed within the town however getting there by road is NOT easy. The bed is relevative short and narrow. I am 1.75m tall and don't feel good with the bed. - I suggest to prepare City map at hotel reception for guests. Hotel is a little bit hard to find. Nothing. ... the wifi connection! So slow!. staff not very friendly. not a comfortable approach to hotel if you wish to take luggage from train station to the hotel by yourself. Very dated interiors. No restraurant or bar. Very expensive for quility of hotel, even for Switzerland. Poor value for money.
