Guests of the Lausanne Palace can also dine in the Japanese restaurant The Palace Sushi Zen, at La Brasserie du Grand Chêne, and in the Mediterranean restaurant Coté Jardin, which is open every day and features a summer terrace and 3 bars with live music every evening, and offers buffet and à la carte dining. Very nice, elegant and well located five stars hotel with really five stars services. The view on the lake from our room was also very nice. It is a very luxurious hotel; with some aspects luxury is definitely excessive... expense of breakfast at 40 sfrs a head. No toilet facilities near entrance lobby. The air-conditioning in our sons' room was not working and was not repaired despite us asking twice for it to be repaired.The indoor swimming-pool is very nice but too small. Just enough big for 3 swimming persons. Girls were very tired apparaently working too long.no wi-fi, internet via TV in the room practically impossible to use, ...overall the hotel is like a sleeping beauty, even sleeping, it is full of charm and still a beauty... Lake view was not accurate. View was mainly of building opposite thestreet. A/c could be cooler. Hotels in Switzerland are in generaldefinately over priced for the value.Given a very small room - next to lift shaft - I am sure I paid for aroom bigger than 16m2. I moved after this hotel to a movenpick grouphotel within the same city. Half price + cleaner + all inclusive + righton the lake (better than lake view). In the palace, need to pay foreverything. For example needed to have my shirt ironed only. Took thehotel 5 mins to do and I was charged 23chf ->16eur. Unsure as to why this is classified as one of the Leading Hotels of the World. i ahve stayed at much better 4* star hotles. It is nowhere near as good as the Beau Rivage Palace in Luasanne, where I would normally stay, but where there was no room on Monday night.Street noise and over heating of room; no alternative to quilt which was far too heavy.

La Table d’Edgard - The restaurant has received a one-star Michelin rating and a 17/20 Gault Millau rating. Open from 12:00 to 14:00 and 19:00 to 22:00. Seasonal closing: July and August. Please book the restaurant in advance after having had the room booking confirmation, otherwise we cannot guarantee any place.

The new restaurant, Palace Sushi Zen, offers Japanese specialities from 12:00 to 14:00 and 19:00 to 22:00 every day of the week and from 19:00 to 23:00 during the weekend. Please book the restaurant in advance after having had the room booking confirmation, otherwise we cannot guarantee any place.

It is recommended to book the restaurant in advance (especially for Christmas and New Year's Eve dinner!) . Please use the comments field while processing the room booking.

Côté Jardin, with seasonal open-air terrace, serves healthy meals. It is open from 07:00 to 10:30, 12:00 to 14:00 and 19:00 to 22:00.

Le Grand Chêne brasserie with Parisian style - all-day dining from 06:30 to 01:00.

There is also LP’s & Habana bars and the Red Club - a private club and discotheque.
