Excellent choice and quality for breakfast, comfy beds, nicely hot water in shower, really helpful reception staff including stocking SL access card (which you must have before using public transport). Quiet location only 10 minute tram ride to city centre. Great view from restaurant.

The location of the hotel was good, the ABBA Museum is in the same building in the basement. The Vasa Museum and the Nordisk Museum sa well sa Scancen are very close.
You can take the Hop on Hop off bus to see the central Stockholm - the bus stop is not far from the hotel. The breakfast is good, the staff is polite. The hotel is very small.

Being at the coutryside in the center of Stockholm was amazing.
You have to walk to arrive to the Palace? You don't go down a 20 floor hotel and are immediatly surrounded by shops?
Who cares? You are 10 minutes away from all that, if you enjoy walking.
If you like to ride a bike, you have your "private" garage next to the hotel, with 20 bikes ready to be rented; just buy the City Bikes card at the reception.
Breakfast was plentyful and the restaurant serves very tasty dishes.

This was a good hostel, I did not mind the size of the room very much. The staff was very good, and I booked a room without a window, and then they were too nice to give me a room with a window! The view is very cool and the location is excellent, right by the old town and a short walk from the national museum and the important locations in Stockholm. The price is fair in an expensive city like Stockholm!

Old-fashioned hotel in a good meaning of such term.Well preserved atmosphere of peaceful old times gone by. The stay was comfortable, especially as I got bigger room than ortiginally booked. A really marvelous little hotel! Only 9 rooms, which makes it very cosy and home-like. Friendly staff, beautiful room, good bed and great location! Our room was behind the reception and next to the breakfast room, but no noise whatsoever was heard. Nice bars and restaurants nearby. Next time in Stockholm we'll choose Pärlan again.

The hotel's location is perfect in the middle of everything with a fantastic view on the Royal Palace. The staff is very friendly - beyond even what one would expect in a hotel of that class. Tip: Instead of the buffet breakfast (and if you don't have the breakfast included in your package) eat a la carte in the bar with the view on the Palace - breath-taking!
