This boutique lived up to all my expectations from reading the reviews. It's within walking distance from Catalunya square (where a bus runs from the airport every 10-20 minutes for only about 6 euro a person) and the staff are beyond excellent. We were able to store our luggage and even check in early since the room was ready, free of charge. The room itself was beautiful - very trendy and comfortable.

The hotel appears to be residential apartments that have just been renovated to a very high grade 'Art Deco' standard. The room was large with a very high ceiling and nicely appointed and the bathroom good and brightly tiled. Our room had large old doors that opened to a balcony on the street....very nice. The staff were exceptionally helpful with suggestions about sightseeing and restaurants , and helped greatly in receiving/printing and sending some unexpected business e-mails for me. Brea.
Reserved a quad room. Beautiful design and layout of the room. Very modern and charming. Private bathroom equipped with toiletries and hair dryer. Balcony with wonderful city view. Easily accessible by the metro. The beach was only 2 metro stops away. The front desk staff was very helpful. Lovely terrace on the lobby floor. Breakfast included tea, coffee, and some light pastries. Restaurants, supermarket, bakeries are all within walking distance. Overall, amazing experience at this hotel and wo.
Boutique style hotel, a new smart interior and rooms, great bathroom with rain shower, huge room with lots of space for cases, very comfy bed, good hanging space, nespresso coffee or tea with muffins for brekky included. A fantastic location for Plaza Catalunya airport bus (can walk with cases), right on the main Passieg de Gracia - a very central spot, walking distance to everything. Very reasonable price for what you get. Lovely little courtyard area. Would definitely recommend and definitel.
We really enjoyed our stay at Violeta Boutique - it was great value for money, great locations and the staff were always helpful. Our room even had its own balcony! The building was secure and I always felt safe in the area. Perfect location near metro & main roads/squares but off the beaten track enough to have a quiet sleep.
The communal areas were great! A large outdoor seating area with nice music and drinks etc available, a small breakfast room for complimentary coffee and muffin in th.
We loved everything. Great location, in the center of Barcelona and close to tourist attractions. The people who worked at the front desk spoke good English and did everything to help us. The room was clean and quiet. We also enjoyed the balcony that was in our room.
We didn't expect breakfast, but we were surprised to get in the morning, at no extra price, unlimited coffee and cakes.
There is no lobby and dining room but it didn't bother us because near the hotel there are some cafés and res.
The location is really great which is only two blocks away from Plaza Catalunya but it's not quite easy to find coz there's no obvious logo on the door, and I spent 10 mins standing right in front of the door wondering where it was!!! The staff were very friendly and helpful. It didn't say they had free breakfast, but they did serve some simple things like coffee, milk, bread, muffins, etc, which was nice. And btw, I love the decoration!! ^^.
I like the design of the room and bathroom. I felt that the bed was very comfortable. The location was perfect for me. Just a short walk to the Ramblas and close to a market and coffee places. Yet, it stayed quiet at night. This was my favorite place out of the 3 hotels we stayed in during our trip to Spain.

The rooms were very spacious, which is a rarity in European lodgings.
The facilies were very clean. The linens were first class. The site is
very convenient and is very close to a metro stop. The taxis are always
available. Manel was very very attentive, even staying late up to 3am to
help us with our luggages since the elevator was not working.

very spacious, with tall ceilings; excellent location near Placa Catalunya, where one can catch an inexpensive bus to the airport; reasonably priced rooms; personable, multilingual staff; EVERYthing is nearby; internet; quiet, even though it's on a city street, and; the priceless gem of a 'secret' garden deck.
We stayed in a triple room which was bright and spacious. Very clean and modern. Location excellent, moments away from Plaza Catalunya so easy to get to and from the airport and all the main sights. They provide complimentary tea/coffee and cake in the mornings and there is a caffe just next door for a more substantial breakfast.
Location only 5 minutes walk from Placa de Catalunya/Las Ramblas with easy links to airport, metro etc. The room was spacious, clean with great bathroom and balcony. Outside terrace was great. Staff very helpful and freindly. No breakfast option but free coffee until 10.30 every morning and lots of local bars and cafes on doorstep.
The room is huge with one bedroom, one bathroom, TV Hd, Wifi. The size is huge enough for three people stay. It is comfortable to stay in. The staff are friendly. My taxi service was arranged by the hotel. Everything was great. This hotel is highly recommended. It definitely worth the money for me.
Very central location. Very close to Plaça de Catalunya and therefore
easy walk to La Rambla, the gothic quarter, Passeig de Gràcia, etc. The
area feels safe at night. The single room I was in was clean and sized
appropriatly. Great value for money. Would go back anytime.
I had a very nice single room but with a double bed. Really nice modern bathroom, TV, table and chair, and room to hang some clothes. Tea and coffee and little cakes on offer for breakfast every morning, and a very cheap shuttle bus ride back to the airport was great.
Location was excellent, especially if you want to explore the city using the metro but also La Rambla and Barri Gotic are within walking distance. The staff were very polite and helpful. The room was very clean. There was a nice patio area with tables and chairs.
We felt great at this boutique hotel , everything was just right ( location, design, very clean, quiet - as we had a room in the back <nr 12> ). Close to the heart of the city, easily accessible by Metro ( Urquinaona) . Staff extremely helpful and available.
The Hotel is located at the first and second floor of a apartment building with a very nice small terasse. Upon arrival we could take a tea and muffin before starting the sightseeing tour. It is conveniently located just 5 minutes from Plaza Catalunya.

quiet at night. Walkable--if you were in good health. Very accesible via
the Metro. Can book service for shuttle to and from airport for about

Building was hard to find but not too much of an issue. When entering building, we were unsure which floor the lobby was on.
The elevator is small but also not an issue for us.

Front desk runs from 0700 to 2300. There is a 24 hour reception but you have to call.
Air conditioning is on a timer and normally runs at night.
No fridge in room. A glass for water would be good. Our room was above the gym and there was quite constant music during day- it didn't worry me too much as we were out a lot, but if I returned I would request a different room. Tricky to find first time, as only a small label on door.
Wifi only worked when standing next to router or when using the hotels own computer.
Aircon was not independently controlled. When I asked for it to be turned down they changed it from 25C to 23C…still far too hot for us I'm afraid :/.

The elevator was not working. I specifically chose this hotel because of
the elevator since we were a group of elderly travellers with knee, hip,
foot problems. I am sure it was something they did not want to happen
but a good maintenance contractor could have avoided this problem. If
not for this, this place is excellent. However, if you have mobility
problems I would not take the risk of choosing this hotel.
The room was overly warm and we weren't able to lower the temperature with the thermostat, and; the hot water in the shower was tepid. I must caveat the first point, in that it may have been operator error.
unable to turn air-con off so our room was always a little chilly especially at night. However the air-con was very quiet so didn't disturb us.
Air con didn't work very well and traffic noise as our room faced onto the main road but having the balcony made up for it.
A bit hard to find but it seems common for smaller hostels in the city.
The can run out of muffins and coffee at breakfast time so don't
wait at the last minute if you want some.
Music coming from the gym next door was quite noisy early in the morning.

Finding a parking space around the hotel may be challenging and is expensive.
