For our small family 2+2 this apartment was perfect. Jan greeted us on arrival and was super friendly. Heaps of space and great cooking facilities in the apartment which is great after you buy fresh food from the San Antoni Market just a stone throw away. Fedral cafe is located just downstairs and is a great place for Breakfast with fantastic coffee. We will be back.

good price for the apartment, good location and the facility is well provided, especially kitchen stuff.

Nice and clean. Comfortable bed Spacious Nice to have opportunity to heat things up in microwave and make breakfast

The door on the bathroom was very stiff and would not close which meant that there was no privacy when using the toilet. As there were 4 of us sharing this was a problem.

Too much noise in the streets and the single glass is like an open window.

Friendly host at arrival, was helpful, because appartment as such has no reception facilities. Shops nearby.

The flat was very nice and spacious, all facilities in good condition; free WiFi and a lot of helpful leaflets and maps. The owner was very kind and the check-in was easy and quick. The area is less touristy, but that can be an advantage as you get to explore the neighbourhood with its wonderful markets, little café and bars. It also has good transport links with two metro stations nearby.

Work was being done inside the building, on the corridors; thus, there was a lot of dust on the floor and doors and often a strong smell of paint. The lift is very small (barely able to fit two people with hand luggage) and could be a problem with flats on upper floors. Our flat did not face the street and was very quiet; however, it sometimes got a bit noisy at night because you could hear the neighbours (ours had a couple of very playful children).

very good location and area: nice cafés and restaurants close by, not too touristic but quite lively area, nice appartment, enough space, basic but good and new equipment, very quick an uncomplictaed contact with the owner, very good acess to public traffic (2 subway stations close by, Bus D20 from poble sec directly to Barceloneta beach)

sometimes noisy at night due to old windows and 1st floor (probably the same in a lot of older appartements in Barcelona), may be slightly overpriced,

Good price, not too far from the touristic sites, the apartment was quite big.

It was older than what it looks like on the photos, kitchen not so clean. Air con was broken so we had it blocked at a freezing cold 18°c the first night, shut down by the landlord the second day and finally fixed when we left
