Central location, walk two blocks to University Metro stop and you can go just about anywhere. 24 hour front desk support. Wireless internet for a very reasonable fee. Very clean and quiet room, as advertised. Requested change of sheets after 3 days, else housekeeping was superb. Didn't try the restaurant.

It was very close to the centre, and situated next to a really good cafe/tapas bar.
I didn't like the windows opening on to a central well. I like to see outside, but this was obviously reflected in the price.

Difficulty finding people who know where the hotel was in order to give us directions to it. Views were minimal - face to face with other buildings.

decor was tired, furnishings old and dated, window looked out on a grim side street, some noise at night from slamming doors, bathroom noise from next room.

The lift continued to breakdown. Also I had a triple room which in relation to my previous stay in November was very small and could have been a double room with another bed added. Limited space for clothing

Good enough if all you want is somewhere to sleep at night. 10 minute walk from Las Ramblas. 5 minute walk from Metro station. Amenities/shops very close by.
No facilities to talk of. Receptionists were just about helpful enough if asked, but most did not even say hello or bye, and some would not even look up from their desk to return a greeting, which i thought was quite rude and unfriendly.

The hotel staff were not particulary helpful or friendly. We got put ina room at the back of reception by the lift which was incredibly noisyall night. The room had no natural light - was still pretty dark in themorning. We asked to be moved - new room ok but beds / matresses awful.Not what we were expecting for a 3 star hotel!
