The rooms were clean and modern. Looked fresh out of an Ikea catalog. Beautiful view of the city on the rooftop at the pools. Great location near Metro stops. Not a far walk to shopping/food/beach/sites. Loved the cafe on site. Lots of friendly travelers staying here. Met people from all over the world. Really enjoyed our stay here. Would use the Residencia again for future trips to awesome beautiful Barcelona!!!!.
all reviews » Very friendly staff. Reception open 24 hours. Very relaxed atmosphere. I left my phone in the reception when leaving for my flight home. I rang the reception, when I got home, hoping they had it - they did and they did everything to help me get my phone back. I arranged courier to pick up and they had it packed ready for the courier - thankyou so much for the help!!. The residence was very comfortable and it was nice to have access to a kitchen. It was nice to sit on the roof and enjoy the sun and the view - both during the day and the evening. The staff was very helpful when we had questions and the restaurant had good food and was not exspensive. All inn all, a great place to spend a vacation. few minutes walk to the subway station. very high building that can be easily seen from distance. breakfast was great. the pastries were fantastic for me. the rooms were small and modern. enough for the both of us. the bed might be a little small for taller people. It is 15 minutes walking from Sagrada Familia, and the beach. The vending machines are life savers. The kitchen was clean and the staff were very helpful. We like the key card system, you dont need to go to the reception for your room key all the time. it has a good location if you are not a tourist in Barcelona but want to be around the places, beach is close, Ciudadella is 15 mins walk, l'Auditori in the doorsteps as well as Metro Glores where you can hop in and be anywhere within 30 mins. Nice place to stay, good accomodation and looks save. Nice and cheap breakfast. Nearby Metro lines and the train station Estacio del Nord. Not far away from the city center, Marina and the beach. Nice sports café around the corner. its really greate place for young travelers it has very tiny, but nice rooms with common kitchen it has its own laundry 2 PCs with printer where you can buy tickets online to save your time and realy great location!. It is close to the tube, but there isn't much around the hotel in ways of food/restaurants/supermarket etc... You basically have to get on a tube to get anywhere. I didn't think of taking my adaptor, so couldn't use internet much during my whole stay. the rooms are a bit small. There was a problem with my reservation, but they solved it quickly, not a big deal. Stayed four nights and they only gave us 1 set of towels each. We had to pay 2 euros for clean towels each every time we wanted new ones. Ludicrous!. Nothing - it's not a luxury hotel but you already know it :). Funeral home next door. Within 2 days I saw 5 coffins?!. Poor bathroom. Lack of soap in bathroom (tiny amount for a 7 day stay) and no dish cloth/scrubber in kitchen. The bikes for hire were in a bad condition. The staff member claimed they are serviced weekly but the two available were dirty, rusty and the front brake did not work. The member of staff insisted they were "relaxed" brakes and refused to accept they did not work. We gave up and went with an alternative place they recommended.
