no english channel on tv, unnecessarily complicated steering of air condition and lighting (touch panel), furniture in my room was vintage, from late Franco period I guess (I am not an expert ;) ), but thats only details

Superb hotel, will stay here any time I am in Barcelona. A little far from center, but less problems and more authentic experience.

Apart from the food the hotel and staff were excellent. Near metro station.

Our room was amazing, bed was comfortable. Complimentary access to the 15th floor lounge with free drinks, access to spa down stairs. Breakfast was delicious with plenty to offer. Staff on check in and check out we're very friendly.

The hot tub in our room would randomly go off in the middle of the night. The noise from it trying to make bubbles when there is no water is very loud and disturbing when trying to sleep. The lady on reception at the spa seemed rather rude.

In a great location, in the new quarter of the city. The hotel is only 4 years old and the décor and modern touches all are incorporated in the hotel. Great pool. Spa service. Bar a bit expensive but many local bars about. Large shopping complex 2 minutes away and the local tour buses just around the corner. Metro nearby and tram across the road.

The fact that they charged 16euros a day for car parking but would have been free had I booked direct, this would have worked out 30 euros cheaper overall had I booked direct.

Near the beach. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Food in both the restaurant and bar were very good and reasonably priced. The hot tub in the suite room was amazing. 5 mins walk from the mall. Comfy bed. Clean modern luxurious rooms. Although a tad expensive for a stag party.. All 16 of us guys had an amazing time. Would highly recommend if you can afford it. After a bit of talking the manager even waived my cancellation fees where two of the guys had dropped out saving me 240euros.

Nothing. Had a fantastic time here and would definitely stay here again. My only gripe was that they didn't have the 15th floor suite available for me.

Not friendly staff, not helpful staff I tried to get some information by e-mail twice, but got no answer we asked for bus station to girona to the airport and a guy from reception told us the wrong place, fortunatly we went there forehead otherwise we'd miss a plane

The hotel is excellent. It has a prepared and kind staff. Its location was excellent for us because we were attending a conference in ccib. The beaches are near there and we just walk to them. The hotel is close to a metro station (it is easy to go to the town). There is an excellent cafeteria close to hotel, then we didn´t pay the breakfast in hotel (we paid 2.50Euros in cafeteria for a coffee and toast with butter and jam). We certainly would wish to go back to the Diagonal Zero Hotel and recommend it.

one of the reception lady does not smile at all, and doesn't seem to be friendly even to her own colleagues... breakfast not as good as i expected. the quality of food is ok, but 18 euros is too expensive for what they offer. view of another tall building and a construction site instead of the seaside... check in takes long and we waited 40 min for the room...

the rooftop pool and the room were really nice.

room service food was poor and cheap. The room was cleaned but not tidy after the cleaning team had pass. Although 90% of the staff was really nice we had some grumpy moody faces.

Very professional and helpful staff. Comfortable beds. Clean rooms and bed sheets. Perfect location nearby beach and convenient connection to city center (tram stop and hop-on-hop-off bus stop just in front of the hotel). Modern design.

1. Swimming pool on the roof was cold, in the shadow - it was not possible to swim even we were there in June. 2. Window from the bedroom to bathroom is too big and covered only with half-transparent curtain - could be nice for romantic couples, but not for a family with kids. I would be glad to stay in that room with my husband, but not with my son:)

Bed slides away from wall when you rest pillows behind you to sit on it. Don't like Mimi bar items outside fridge on sensors. I accidentally picked a bottle up to look at it. However, I wasn't charged. Would be a night mare if you had children

This hotel is in a good location for access to the Grand Prix circuit - on the outskirts of Barcelona, with easy access via metro to the centre and a walk across the road to a decent beach. Parking is good in the underground car park. The hotel is modern and reasonably well equipped - the rooms (lighting, heating) are 'run' by a software interface screen in each room. Our Exec room was large enough and well designed. The bar Tapas was pretty good too. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The software interface is clunky and slow - the air conditioning never really cooled the room even though it was only 23 degrees outside. They provide liquid soaps in dispensers rather than actual soap (aarghh !) The bed, although large, was hard and quite uncomfortable. Not enough English channels on the satellite TV.

Location is good – very close to public transportation (metro, tram, bus, taxi). Huge shopping mall is 2min away. Beach (even though not the most impressive one, by a large car parking) is 7min away.

There was a bit too much dust in the room as for 4*. My wife started to sneeze the moment she tried to open the curtains. Literally pile of dust in the window between the bathroom and the main room. Though, the rest in the room has been cleaned and maintained properly.
