This hostel was very clean and comfortable and was decorated in a modern style. I loved the down comforter on the bed and the spacious lounge with the tv, games and books. They had all the necessities you could need, including a washer and dryer in the basement. It was located in a very nice part of town within easy walking distance of the metro as well as many other tourist sites. I enjoyed this hostel very much and would highly recommend it to anyone who is traveling to Barcelona.
all reviews » This hostel is amazing! Very funky! We were upgraded to a hotel room, free of charge, and still had access to use the hostel facilities. The hotel rooms are lovely and new and very clean. Rooms are made up every day and new towels are also given daily (in the hotel). The staff are very helpful and friendly. It is extreamly close to the Sagrada Familiar and a 5 minute walk from the Metro. I would stay here again and recommend it to everyone!. close to the underground, to the city centre, good value for money, met so many interesting people there:) Friendly and helpful guys at reception who are are ready to help you 24 hours a day! Aircon which makes life so much easier when there are 6 people in the room. I think next time I'd stay there again!. The staff were all extremely friendly and I had a great stay. The bar is a great area with cool areas and great decor. Walking distance to all of the sights of Barcelona however if you didnt fancy the walk it was easy to get to 'Diagonal' metro station and move around from there!!! All in all a top place. Everything! The Hostel is absolutely perfect. The best hostel i've stayed. The Hostel is very clean, independent air-conditioner, even in the shared rooms, the lits are great, the bar is great and the staff are really helpful and prepared to receive the foreign. The hotel's in the perfect location to get on tour buses, city buses, and the metro. Tourist attractions and restaurants are just a few minutes away. Although little nervous about enormous reviews that I had read before travelling , it took me to surprise that I found pretty safe even though I was a lonely traveller.Great cuisine, unique architectures and friendly people made me feel almost at home. As I was only visiting Spain, I did not have a cell phone for local calls, but I did have a calling card and no phone to use it on. There are only two washing machines and two dryers so be ready to line up to use them. a very small room. I was staying in a room for 6 girls and it was much smaller than in the pictures. A tiny bin which is never enough for 6 girls... Cleaning staff who stole somehow some of my clothes that had been left on the bed and were never found again. Although I had a great time it wasn't quite as busy as I was hoping, I was expecting more of an atmosphere in the communal areas. But I feel when word gets around this will change as it is brand new !. The floor of the shower is a little bit slippery. Nothing, I loved it there. I was disappointed that the hostel did not run it's own tours, events etc outside of the bar as I was hoping to meet people in this way. The things I joined were advertised by the hostel, but were with external companies, thus making it harder to socialise. Only the bathrooms down at the lobby are not so clean. only microwave to prepare a food. First night cost 12 whith booking, 2-nd already 16 =(. Rooms are quite small, so in case all the beds are occupied it does get very crowded. Elevator ridiculously slow!!! No place to hang clothes. Nothing :). I didn't like the high prices at the bar, specially considering that everything else was quite budget-friendly, set in an optimum Erasmus-student environment. the garbage bag in the toilet was not cleared. - You need to buy a lock for a 5 Euros or have your own if you wanna keep your things in safety. The only problem are the doors of the other rooms that when are closing they do noise and sometime you have difficult to fall asleep. Location was hard to find from directions on line. Need to tell you street names to turn on via both the diagonal and verdaguer Metro stations. I guess there is nothing bad to say. There should be a daily cleaning regime for the toilets and showers. In the room: The tap is way too close to the edge of the sink, it's very difficult to wash hands comfortably!. That the reception told us to have bed number 2 and 5 but 5 was occupied and again this happened and someone slept at my bed when I wasn't in the room. Checkout until 10 am is a little early. Rooms were not cleaned everyday. The common areas are too scattered. Expensive given how limited the room is and the fact there is no room service/cleaning during your stay. Needed More Hooks InThe Room. Noisy doors slamming in the night. Basement cafe/restaurant. Sloooow lifts. the staff is not that helpful. Very small rooms, bathroom. Pure breakfast even the quality of coffee. Problem with using of elevators. No towels. staff was unprepared to answer tourist questions. Extremely slow lifts and no hair dryers in the female only rooms even though website said there was, very few bins around.
