The staff very friendly, helpful and extremely efficient. We stayed on a 3 night package,goin mid week which was a fantastic deal at 186 euros, but did not take the option of a breakfast. A fantastic location, within 3 minutes walk from Sangrada Cathedral. The hotel provided free internet access in its lobby area , and the rooms where impeccable. The location is so so,quite far from the city center, but close to Sagrada Familia, about 5 min by walking. Sometimes it was hard to catch a taxi from the street near hotel. At the same time there was the best room of all Eurostars Hotels in Barcelona we have stayed (Cristal Palace andLaietana Palace, everywhere we booked standard double room).

The view of Sagrad Familia was quite unexpectant, it is larger than life looking at it from our hotel room. Good transport and hotel facilities along with english speaking staff made it memorable. I didn`t exagerated before with only excellent answears, but everythingwas very good: the hotel was beautiful, the stuff was friendly andhelped us with maps and magazines. The breakfast was fresh and the staff amenable. The location is a little far from the Ramblas but was compensated with a underground tube/train station next to the hotel. Coffee/tea making facilities is missing.Internet access complicated to use and very very weak in the rooms very annoying. Maybe a bit too expensive. Breakfast should be included in price. yes i did not like the fact it was rated as a four star and it basically only had room service and a nice room, i have stayed at other four stars many a time and they had alot of facilities available for the price etc. there was one mistake but it was easily rectified as i was over charged.We found it difficult to keep the room coll at night. curving floor and shower covering. Due to smoking preference they placed on first floor. the bed was to hard and the handicap romm could be better. the sink was to high. and a bathtub is not praktikal when you are in a wheelchair.We ordered double room, but the beds were single moved together to make it double, it ment we had a gap between beds in the middle, it was the only thing I did not like about the hotel and it is the reason why I would not return to this hotel again, though I liked everything else. Sometimes there were several things missing at the brekfastbuffet and our feeling was that the staff couldn´t handle it.no restaurant in the hotel. Room had an odor. Staff at breakfast on christmas day we used it, was absent from the room long periods, obviously disgruntled for working on 25th and a bit curt, this was isolated however as overall staff was trying best to be helpfull and was quite friendly and informative. As for room the windows could have had a bit better sound proofing for road noise as we were on an outside room near road. The bathroom has a problem with the shower, there s water around everything after a shower, no matter what is your choice of shower head. In our room the storage was blocked by nightable.lounge. Breakfast was very basic and took ages for things to be replaced in buffet when gone.the ventilation of the bathroom wasn't functional.

. By Train. the train leaves every 30 minutes, and it takes only 30 minutes to Clot-Arago Station. You must stop there and transfer to L2 subway to Monumental Station (only 3 stops). Monumental Station is in Marina street, just one block away from the hotel (Consell de Cent at Marina Street)

How to arrive from the Girona Airport:
