The Location and the Staff... It was very comfortable, clean and pleasant. Close to public transport and two beautiful sites... I will definitely go back. Good location, when we found it. Apartment v clean and modern. The facilities in the hotel were excellent and very close to Parc Guell.The air conditioning was a great feature. Completly fitted out withamenities eg laundry and good range of cooking features. Local transportfantastic- right outside the door virtually. Supermarket close by. Feltvery secure area.all reviews »
i loved the fact that the hotel/apartment was so very close of Guell Park. Furthermore, it is close to Alfons X metro station and others means of transportation. The Apartment was intimate, very clean and well equipped. For 3 night stay we needed nothing more. Location is very good, also public-transportation to everywhere. Silent and comfortable area.Spacious apartment with more beds than specified when I booked. Comfy beds. Kitchen, lounge and dining room, big TV.
Staff very helpful when we complained. Spacious.More detailed address/directions required and contact number needs to be updated. Apartment is in private block of apts not named DIRSA( and not part of hotel) - you have to arrange time to check in and meet owner there to get keys. Bad experience trying to find apt (due to very unhelpful taxi drivers) and contact number on booking form was "out of range" - V stressful at 10pm with a young child. Slightly difficult to find , especially if you arrive late. Even thetaxi driver could not find it.It was this little inconvenient about the shower - the hose was broken and that made showering pretty hard. The electricity cut out every half an hour & then went off completely but we complained and they gave us a new apartment.
Shame that the windows were frosted so no view.
No bins in bathroom.
Quite basic.
No kettle for making tea.Bathroom door didn't shut.
