If you are thinking now what to book - this place or some other apartments with the same price and you aren't much attached to the TV (which is missing there) and do not require a spacious staircase for a double stroller or a lift for a wheelchair (which is not there, because the building is pretty old and it is just a flat in a real house, not a apartments hotel) then go for it, because the accomodation is really amaising. There is everything you'll need at the kitchen and more than you actual. all reviews »
Cozy, affordable accomodation. Nice apartment in a relaxed environment. Metro stations (Alfons X or Joanic of Line 4) are a few blocks away. There are many supermarkets and small restaurants around in the area. Parc Guell and the Sagrada Familia are both in walking distance (15mins). The hosts were very friendly, we got to use the washing machine, and they also lent us their baby stroller which was a great help with our 4-year-old. Note that there is indeed no TV and the building is quite old s.
a lot of cookware available in the kitchen and a very nice balcony. contains fans instead of Air conditioning. we are satisfied with almost everything.
The frying pan looked suspicious, may be it should be changed for a new one. The sink at the bathroom is tiny, so there is no way you can make a small laundry there comfortly. But the householder said we could have used the washing mashine at the terrace. I wish we new this before leaving, but now you will know it, don't be shy to ask it.
It was not a big deal but there was the occasional small ant running over the table, hunting for small remnants of food we left there. You better keep the table and floor clean. Also, the water pressure in the shower is somewhat low, and the temperature was hard to adjust properly.
