The staff was lovely. Every single one of them. Although the entrance of the building was a little dodgy, as soon as you enter the hotel, it was a very nice, comfortable and home like interior. We loved staying here, and I am sure, if I come again, I will definitely stay here. Also, the breakfast is included in the price which wasnt stated at letsbookhotel.com's site. The location is great - just 10 min walk from the railway station from Moscow, 100 m from main street. The hotel is very small - 22 rooms. Made from several former apartments. Stayed for May holidays - extremely cheap for such period. Very good choice for those, who will not stay in the room and can live everywhere. I liked it very much.
all reviews » Great location which is along Neva Street, and is unexpectedly quiet inside. Very easy to find since you will see the sign on the street. Although the mansion is old outside, its inside decoration is cozy and good-looking. The reception is very helpful and speaks good English. They charge us free for the early check-in. Staff is very friendly and nice, rooms are well designed and cozy. Good breakfast included in price. Hairdryer is in room. Clean bathroom. Check out at 12pm, but if you have night train you may leave your luggage at the reception and take back when you want, they are working 24hours. Excellent location minutes from public transport and within easy walking distance of several interesting sites and also the large old department store. Also many good restaurants nearby. Very friendly staff. Very small but comfortable beds and room. Rooms are as small as on photos, do not expect them to be larger :) but they are still clean, bright and cozy anyway. The location is also a disadvantage as there are a lot of bars nearby - so all day long a big traffic on the street. It's very hard to sleep with open window. The room is very very small, so if you travel with big bags you will have no space for them. Also the size of the room causes some inconvenience with the room temperature: very hot, with open window very noisy, using air conditioning can make you feel seek because it is situated just in front of the bed. Hot water is not enough for two people, and you need to wait for a little while after the first one has finished. There is lil bit noise at night outside, cos main street. Hotel situated on the first floor with no lift in what used to be a lovely old building. Now entrance very run down but hotel is fine, albeit with very small rooms and a small but adequate lobby/breakfast room. Nothing to report. The size of the room was small. The sound of the vacuum cleaner was noisy in the morning. As a wish, there is nothing to put tooth brushes. None found. Rooms & bath are rather small. Okay for a couple of days I guess. They have a smoking issue with chain smokers that enter downstairs hallway to smoke,need to find ways to control priamary door in entrance of building. The hotel is in the old building first floor, I was worry when I first entered to the building, was dark and old. Need to walk up one floor to the hotel, it was totally different to the main hotel door, clean tidy and bright. After I found that most russia hotel is like that. Nobody at the hotel knew about visa registration before, so I went to my invitation sponsor for that. Choices for breakfast are limited (which was okay for me). My room was too small and without window, even though I knew that before :) a bit claustrophobic. Rooms are small but have everything that really need. the room was really tiny, the entrance from the street really needs repair. Internet was extremely slow during my visit. Later settlement. Cramped room. There was very noise. It was hard to sleep, because we could hear everything that happened at the corridor firm our room. Nothing. Small rooms, thin walls and door, a lot of noise through windows. Nothing.
