  If you want to go back in time, visit Villa Retezat (B&B). A very nice authentic building, almost everything is original. Really friendly staff. Good breakfast and silence all over...Parking in front of the hotel and some good restaurants around the corner. - The villa is very beautiful and warm, with its stained glass windows, wooden ceiling... what people say » s and staircase. Our room was comfortable and we could rest very well. The location is good, in a nice neighborhood, close to the city centre and to Sinaia Monastery.

  It is perfect for families (cooking facilities as well as cooking utensils included) or groups of friends. All rooms include a large living room plus kitchen, even the double rooms for 2 persons, it is great for groups or families. We had a double bedroom apartment plus a living room that had an extendable sofa, therefore a group of 6 could be eas... what people say » ily accommodated. Very nice designed, very good location, close to skiing slope if interested, great even in the summer, very quiet, smoke free, large - the apartment was big and tidy with all the cooking facilities needed, so even though the price is higher than the other hotels in the area, we managed to stay withing the budged as we cooked for ourselve instead of going each time to the local restaurants. they also have a nice barbeque and a terrace and the staff provides all you need to start the fire.it was an excellent stay and we thank you

The staff was very friendly and helpful,with very good manners and displaying a professional attitude. Nice breakfast (several choices) which can be served in a room for no extra cost. Friendly staff Quite new.

  The place was beyond our expectations, we got everything we needed and more. The rooms are very spacious, with all the details thought of, the kitchen was super, we even had a mixer and a dish-washer, but the staff told us that we don't even have to do the dishes, the wonderful cleaning lady did that every day. They even supplied us with clothes w... what people say » ashing service, we got the clothes clean and folded the same day afternoon. The hosts were wonderful, and responsive at any time. We stayed for 5 days - I enjoyed everything: great location among Carpathian mountains, great staff (very friendly, English speaking), excellent apartments: clean, convenient and large enough for the middle-size family (probably the best I've ever seen in Romania). The price was surprisingly low for such luxuries, Visa/MasterCard was accepted. Convenient parking. Overall, this is probably the best hotel I've seen in Romania. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
