Sibiu Hotels

We are a family of 4 and had an apartment booked in the hotel. The original booking was for interconnected rooms but the front desk staff recommended us an apartment as being more appropriate for our family. Although we were a little reluctant at the idea, after having been shown what an apartment offers, we took it without second thoughts. And it proved to be an excellent ideea as the young ones were much closer to us and easier to reach in case of anything. In short, we felt there like home. O - Ryuta

This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel and since the first visit, a year ago, the hotel has doubled in size. New luxury rooms & reception have been added. These are to the highest standard. We stayed in a new suite which was very impressive and kept exceptionally clean. A new spa including swimming pool in under construction at present and when completed this will be a very special place to stay. Staff very helpful and do speak English. Casa Luxemburg is the most central accommodation you can get in Sibiu for a good price.I asked for a room for one and I got a room with a king size bed with a lovely view of the Piata Mica (Little Square).the staff advised me on what was worth seeing and doing for my two-day stay. what they advertise on their web site is what they really offer. i was very pleased with everything. - Terri

Apollo is a good place to stay in Sibiu, not far away from the old town center accessible by foot. Room are clean and restaurant is good. Some rooms has free cable internet access - Charles

The hotel was quiet, clean, with friendly staff and good food although they should warm the plates and maybe vary the menu. Just out of Sbiu, on main road, a short taxi ride from hotel (the town is full of museums and great place for a stroll) We could not get a twin room with a bath, the baths are limited to doubles for some reason and the view was dreadful. One evening they had a wedding reception party in the restaurant so we had to eat in the bar, but the food was fine and the wine good. - Mrs

Stayed one night after reading reviews here. Sean Roberts and his wife Ianina met us when we arrived and were expecting us. The rooms we had were well appointed and had good views of the surrounding hills and mountains. We ate out for dinner but had breakfast in the hotel. It was OK and they prepared a fresh omelette for us. Sean joined us in the evening in the bar for a chat and he told us how they had got their enterprise underway. Overall a very pleasant stay with a good host. I would r - Chris

The Contintntal Forum is very close to the Old town and the walls - both are within very easy walking distance as are many bars, resaurants and the local Billa supermarket. The whole hotel is very new - the only bit I didn't like was the glass walls of the bathroom (the glass is frosted but is still semi see through!). Breakfast is buffet style and reasonably good.There are other large hoels in the area but the Forum has the best location by far. - Michael
