The hotel is within walking distance to popular sites like Casa Poporului and Piata Victoriei and many other sights. The Floreasca Emergency Hospital is a 5-minute drive away. The rooms are equipped with modern furniture, HD LCD TV, black-out curtains, an individually controlled air-conditioning system as well as high-speed, free internet access. The Café, which has wireless internet access, serves aromatic coffee as well as other fine beverages and snacks. At the Breakfast Saloon you can have a rich buffet breakfast and unwind in the summer garden, where snacks, drinks and breakfast are served as well. Hotel Unique Bucharest's terrace has cool air in the summertime and it is heated in the wintertime.

A "unique" combination of service, cleanliness, very kind and helpful staff and unbeatable position for Bucharest. I'm only sorry we couldn't stay more. Bucharest and Romania could certainly use more hotels like this. Way to go!!!. Very convenient location - quiet, but close to the action. Airy, tastefully-decorated rooms which were spotlessly clean. Extremely helpful staff. I would definitely stay here again.

We had to list all our valuables and hand the list over to the staff. It worked ok and nothing was missing, but we did not like the procedure. Much noise from outside in the room.A little out of the way; the breakfast fare could be more interesting. Smoking rooms not available - hotel is 100% non smoking while I had tnoindication on the booking.com server. WIFI has some problem. which is killing point for someone like me.. Rate was given in euros but charged in lei at a very bad exchange rate(well above both the official rate and what you could get on thestreet). We then tried to pay in euros in cash but the hotel refused torefund the charge. We found the whole thing very misleading and left abad taste in our mouth.misunderstanding about a transportation from the airport. External aircon units across the walled garden kept me awake. The patiogarden below my window was noisy until everyone went to bed.No attempt to assist us in getting some clothes cleaned. No hot water and there was no obvious plan to repair the problem. No compensation offered either. Not nearly as well located in town as the web site stated. The hotel was not child friendly at all. They have no baby cribs and were not nice about taking the extra bed they put in the room off of our bill. The room is not as close to the city center as indicated.

If you arrive on your own, from the Square Piata Romana: -take the street with the old building of the Academy of Economic Studies - on the left side on Caderea Bastiliei street you walk 100 metres (about 3 minutes' walking and less then 1 minute by car.) Any place from Bucharest can be reached very easily using one of the 2 underground stations situated only 100 metres from the hotel. (Piata Romana Station or Piata Victoriei Station).
