We only stayed here over night but filled our requirements adequatelty so we has very little involvement with a lot of the facilities. However I do feel the fact you have to pay for parking extra is a bit rude as it should be included & internet charges are ridiculously expensive especially when a lot of other placeswe stayed offered both parking & internet complimentary. the hotel situated in from of the famous cadbury chic factory. the Nando's restaurant just next door as well as supermarket . the facilities are perfect , washing machine, dryer, kitchen amenities etc was just perfect. will surely stay there again for next trip.

Located next Countdown Supermarket and Cadbury Chocolate Factory.Walking distance to Dunedin Railway Station,the 2nd most photographed buildings on south hemisphere after the Opera House,Sydney. I was working at the Dunedin central police station which is just next door it's in a great location and the staff are lovely. I have stayed here a couple of times and I will gladly go back. the receptionist on the night i arrived was very helpful and friendly, the apartment was clean and comfortable, great shower and close enough to city without being right in the middle of it. The location of the hotel is perfect just few minutes walk to the shopping street and central. Hotel is just opposite a Cadbury and few steps next to Supermarket. Location close to city centre and bus and train station. I had asked for a quiet room and the room I got at the back of the building (114) was very quiet indeed. Inter-linked rooms were great for group. Easy walking distance to town. Supermarket next door for supplies was handy. Secure undercover carparking. Appreciated well laid out bathroom, the beds were very comfortable, location was central and also handy to supermarkets and great shops. good location and parking. well designed. very comfortable and very well appointed. Can hear traffic on main road if have bedroom on road side (but probably only noticed as am a light sleeper). The intercom system outside was very h ard to hear which is offputting when its very dark and you have just arrived. Its also now well signposted (particularly if you arrive in the dark as mentioned before). I feel I have to mention it was only 8pm and already quite hard to see. can't think of anything except perhaps better sky channel coverage. everything was perfect. Location meant a poor view... But that is the downside of a central location. I could not pick up the WiFi icon in my room, and was told there was no WiFi at the office in the foyer, so I could receive no help. As I was resident for a whole week, this was very frustrating. Noise from sirens, windows at front need better soundproofing. The curtains were dirty and needed cleaning The heater didn't work properly. I thought the Lobby and entrance way were most un-inviting and uninspiring. Could be changed and given some personality- fresh flowers, flower tubs outside, Dunedin Art etc- a designer should be brought on board. there was a very faint high pitched noise that i noticed during the night and so wore ear plugs. couldn't tell where this was coming from. was in room 109. The single beds were small, thought they might have been king single beds. Wifi should be free and this comment it apply to other Quest apartments. Everything was great. No wardrobe to hang clothes. No newspaper for each room. Could have had a better light to read with in bed. Nothing. N/A. Additional cost to park in their building - as a guest. traffic noise. no free wifi. Not very spacious in lounge. The hob was not very clean nor extractor. TVs a bit dated. Dishwasher poor performance. Our room immediately opposite police station. Very noisy electric gate and tannoy announcements. Parking good but expensive. Offensive smell in our corridor which hotel didn't know source (not guilty! ). Usually QUEST has very high standards, this one couldn't quite offer the same...a bit shabby (for a Quest). Bed was really uncomfortable woke with a sore back and aching joints - never had that before! Toilets didn't flush properly. Could have been cleaner, there was hair in the bed and shower which was not mine. The queen bed being made up of two singles is not the most comfortable.
