When we arrived at the hotel, a lovely man named John helped bring in all our luggage. The staff were amazingly helpful and friendly. The room was absolutely amazing, spotlessly clean and the beds were super comfy! When were checked out the next day, the lovely John retrieved our car for us and loaded our luggage in. This was by far the best hotel we stayed in over our fortnight travelling around NZ.

The first room we were offered faced a wall but when we asked for a view room, we were quickly obliged. Location was great in terms of easy access to town centre. Good parking area. The staff where very friendly and when coming to the reception desk regardless of others you were always in someway acknowledge whilst waiting for service. The corner room 679 with windows on both sides was so sunny for us to entertain our best friends as we were celebrating our Golden Wedding -50yrs married. The beds were very luxurious. The staff at reception and in the restaurant were extremely charming and helpful. Reception staff were helpful and friendly. So were the restaurant staff. My room was very comfortable. Friendly staff Great price Short walk to shopping centre Soft, fluffy matress cover and duvet. Chef very kindly found a different fish than the one on the menu, made the dinner for us. An enjoyable and comfortable place to stay. The staff are very attentive and friendly. I like the proximity of the hotel to the shopping centre and the quality of bed. Nice!. An hour of free Wi-Fi is good but why does it have to be used at one time?. loved the big comfy beds. also plenty of mirrors close to power points +++. The beds were wonderfully comfortable. Best sleep on our entire holiday. Easy check in. Clean and tidy. Toiletries as a gift were a nice touch. Bed was very comfortable. Room was pleasantly warm and convenient. This may have been a police issue that was neglected but obviously the hotel took no action either?!. Starting to need a bit of an upgrade. Have stayed with you several times always love your place. Look at pillows mattresses and bathroom tiles. Cleaners look for outer bathroom door. The Basin in the main room believe not ideal much better arrangement when all together. Sponge bag was always in the 'wrong' place either in the shower or around the basin That style of basin leaves no place to put the soap The hair dryer was hard to find -who would expect to look under the suitcase seat -should have been in the bathroom. The parking was a bit tricky, with small space available. We were disappointed at the runny consistency and custard taste of the creme brulee at dinner - it's usually our favourite treat. The coffee shop was closed on a regional holiday: Monday 25th March. I thought this extraordinary for a three star hotel in one of New Zealand's major towns. Room was very noisy, outside noise more than inside. Need a bit more ambiance and better waiters for dinner. We have to pay extra for the parking lot. not so thrilled with the creaky bath the the shower was over, I would sooner have had a shower box. Large queue when checking out. Paying for parking. Unfortunately some street noise from people heading home at 4 am despite being on 6 th floor!. Crack in vanity basin. Noisy plumbing when plug was removed. Just the layout it a little weird so can be confusing. I did not like the meal at the restaurant. our main was like soup, not what we wanted. the bread was hard. nothing. cant think of anything. Bit of street noise, shame there's no double glazing on windows. A shame you have to pay for parking but wouldn't risk leaving car on street as our son did & he had a panel kicked in. Nothing. Receptionist unfriendly and quite rude. Paying for parking. Old bathroom, no step in shower. Small tv. Reception was a little cold. Check in slow Room not cleaned at 4.15pm Wifi problems. Shower Ambience of room. Bed was very uncomfortable. It definitely needs to be replaced, there was a beautiful view of a brick wall, but this didn't really bother me, but needs mentioning if you're expecting a room with a view, also asked for a quiet room away from the elevator, and got the room next to the elevator. Cheap room rates gets the crappy room!. all OK. Bathroom facilities not up to scratch.hair on floor.bath not cleaned properly etc. Noise all night.Needs double glazing on windows. Having to pay $12 for parking at hotel.
