My wife and I stayed at Breitner House in Mid-July...and, yes, the weather was beautiful for our stay but even if it had have poured rain for the entire weekend I think we would have been happy not to leave our fantastic suite for the 4 days!!! I don't really know where to start but here goes -

Through out my trip, this is the best place I stayed! It is like a Palace, so romantic,royal, elegant,artistic and full of good spirit and culture. it just make me say "WoW"! The room is so spacious and grand. The bathroom is also very spacious and beautiful. Fantastic location just round the corner from Centraal Station, was easy to find - its basically above the Resin coffeeshop. Beds were alright for a short stay, good enough kitchen facilities for us to cook up a couple of very tasty meals. Decent size bathroom with a good shower. The Old Lady is a restored terrace on the canal in Amsterdam. We rented the apartment which is spacious, comfortable and clean. The building is very well located only minutes from the railway station and right on one of the canals. Most of the city's attractions, shopping and restaurants are within walking distance. The hosts are very cooperative and an excellent breakfast was provided.
