  The hotel was a block from the Rijksmuseum -- the breakfast room looked across the street to the back archway. We were two blocks from the Van Gogh Museum, and on the tram and bus lines that led everywhere. We were able to take a BUS to and from the airport by walking a few steps. Three major museums no more than 500 m away, canals also, supermarket nearby, plenty of food options, and the wonderful vondelpark. Good basic breakfast. Bed comfortable. Clean facilities. Good vibe.

  The hotel's location was near centre, and facilities nearby were good. All staff at hotel were friendly and very helpful. The decor of hotel and rooms was very nice.   Loved the location! The room was clean, and so was the bathroom. Self check in/out. Soup, salad, and sandwich take away store just around the corner. Nice view from the room. - It is basically an apartment for rent. It was nice and clean and i much preferred it to constant knocking on the door asking if you want towels.

The breakfast also very good, although was a bit late as needed to leave early, bit it is ok given this hotel is not for business travellers and I chose it because I needed to attend a conference, and had to do it at the very last minute.
