The location was close to everything in Centruum with a major tram stop minutes away. The guest service agents and restaurant staff were friendly. ... what people say » ed early in the the morning (7:30AM). - The location was great (about 2mn walk to Centraal Station, right next to the shopping area, restaurants and bars, etc...), friendly and helpful staff, nice varied buffet for breakfast, quiet hotel considering the location (even on New Year's Eve!), all facilities provided in clean and cosy room. We will definitely choose The Avenue hotel again for any future trips to Amsterdam.

I would like to especially commend Lisa for helping arrange our tour in Amsterdam. She was nice and efficient in checking us in in an instance as the rooms are all ready and check in packets are all ready at the time of our arrival.

It a was very, very clean hotel and we had a fantastic room at the front on the 2nd floor with a nice balcony. Breakfast was lovely and didnt have to get up too early as it didnt finish until 11am!
