  Frankly, it was the best choise I have ever made. &Quot;House of Amstel" is very central in terms of location, you can find the place very easily just a few minutes of walking from Dam Sqaure, it is actually at the intersection of several busy streets such as Damrak and Amstel ; it's called Muntplein. You can reach to Flower Markt and Muntplei... what people say » n Trum Station within 2 minutes of walking. Apart from excellent location the place is very comfortable, you have everything under your hand. You can - We were met at the apartments by Kai who explained everything for us and gave us some great tips on things to do whilst we were there. The apartments were very clean and comfortable and the location was excellent. It was located a few minutes from Dam Square, one of the main attractions in Amsterdam. There was a great view of the river Amstel from the apartment windows with all the boats passing by at regular intervals.

  I loved the whole idea of staying on a ship. The location was great as well, just a 5-10 minute walk to the Central Station area. The rate included breakfast which was good, I just wish it started a little earlier because we wanted to get out of the city to head home as early as possible. This was our first time staying on a ship like this and it ... what people say » was great. The host was nice and he had an awesome dog on board too. I would absolutely return if I visit Amsterdam again. Note if you're driving - we - The owners were exceptionally nice and welcoming. The location is great! Only a ten minute walk from Central Station. Lovely breakfast is complimentary, the common area is extremely comfortable and you can sit up on deck and gaze out at the cityscape! Highly recommend Hotelschip Gandalf!!!
