We really liked the area where the apartment is , it is not to far from the centre, but in a more residential area.The Saturday market nearby was great .It was really nice that the owner was there on our arrival to greet us, with an explanation of the apartment and tips on what to in Amsterdam.

The hotel is placed in a business zone, so it is very quiet and spacious .
You have lots of places to have breakfast at the metro station, don't buy the hotel one that it is very expensive(23 euro/person). Also, at the hotel you have free coffe/tea maker in the room.

The staff is young and friendly and were doing there best as all the kinks had not been striaghtened out, it opened a few days before we checked in. This hotel was the best we stayed at in Europe. The staff were helpful and friendly, the room was huge for Europe standards and because it is brand new, the facilities are to a very high standard, particularly given the price range. The rooms are soundproof and warm, and the bathrooms are really large. We stayed in a standard room and would definitely stay there if we visited Amsterdam again.

Very easy to use hotel.
Self serve check in when you get there (a bank of about five computers), so you aren't waiting for a person to take care of you. Someone is nearby for the technically challenged.
The rooms are what I would call "pods". Small rooms with everything compact and easy to reach. The photos online tell the story.

This is one of top three hotels I have ever stayed in (and there were some!), but I cannot remember the other two :). Giving this hotel a 10 would mean that the other few I rated as 10 should now be re-rated to 8. :)
Everything was great. The technical stuff in the room, funny saying everywhere, some might find "self-check-in" a bother, but I liked a new experience and there was always extremely polite and friendly staff around to help.
All in all - 7min walk from Amsterdam Zuid train station.

The two brothers who run the apartment hotels are very nice and friendly. We had the two bedroom apartment sharing with my in-laws.
