  We arrived just after having stayed in the jungle at Sepilok (which was after days of diving and a long bus journey), so we really needed somewhere clean and comfortable. The best service we have ever had from all staff, in any place we stayed in Malaysia for 4 weeks, could not fault service, type of room & cleanliness.

  Our usual Kota Kinabalu hotel was full so we hunted around for another good budget hotel. For us, this means a clean, quiet room with everything working and air con, but we're not after anything else, like freshly painted walls, colour coordination, throw pillows etc! The aircon was super quiet and the electric shower worked fine. The staff were frie - The staff at City Park Lodge were the best things over there. The rooms were small and very basic but fine, but even when we missed our flight early the next morning they were very accommodating and helped us in whatever way they could!

  There is nothing negative to say about this hotel. It is near Tg Aru beach. The room is simply magnificent. It is big n comfy. Parking space...no problem at all. Very safe...absolutely great. - I stayed in the 2 bedrooms excutive suite..which is very convenience with my young children.. location wise is excellent and convenient car parking ....

  The manager Michael was particularly helpful especially when the washing machine flooded the kitchen and must say I am really grateful. All the washing of the half washed clothes and drying was done a his own time. - The manager speaks fluent English and mandarin . Very warm and helpful.

I was very sceptical about this hotel as I was tasked to do the travel arrangement including hotel bookings.
