Friendly staff, they can speak fluent English. There are staff from worldwide too! The cafe ambiance is very good and relaxing. I was given the complimentary of upgrade from 4-pax dorm to single room due to hotel overbooked. The facilities like toilet, shower room are clean. Just 5 minutes walking distance from the Jimbocho railway station. I feel safe even on the way back alone to hotel during night time.

Hotel is pretty easy to reach by subway from Tokyo Station, animated and central location close to lots of subway stations, staff is friendly and speaks perfect English, rooms and facilities are clean, wi-fi access, breakfast and bar available, budget friendly compared to Tokyo standards. The staff were excellent, and the common areas were very chilled, and with good budget food / drinks. Its quite well located in Tokyo, being close to the subway and easy to get to / from other key locations in Tokyo. A great place for solo travellers to meet other solo travellers!. Beds were a bit hard. shared bathrooms. The hotel made a mistake in our reservation and gave us a 2-people-bedroom instead of a 3-people one. They apologized and gave us an extra mattress, but our room was still pretty crowded. Just make sure they got the right reservation by sending them an e-mail before you go. ;). The hotel/hostel mix did not work out well for me. You lack both some luxuries of a hotel (e.g. no towel) and some advantages of a hostel, as the common area wasn't very lively and there is no kitchen available. In the room close to the female dorma there is something that make a terrible noise all the day, especially during the night,like a big washing machine. It has no lockers. The breakfast only has toasts and soup, it has no juice or eggs or something interesting so i recommend not to pay for breakfast. Hard pillows No storage space. Very hard to find, bad sound isolation, the doors in the shower are so heavy that you risk to lose your fingers when closing. I would not advise to go there with kids. My room was undergraund, named Filly.It is awfull. It has window, but with artificial light.Some machine make such a great noise, that you cannot sleep at all. Never take tnis hostel, the worse, that I have ever seen.
