These were my 2nd and 3rd stays at this small and cosy hotel. I like everything about it. I experienced both a Japanese and a Western-style room, both types are fine (of course you have to know hotel rooms in Japan are relatively small). The Japanese-style breakfast is great. The hotel has a large bath for questions to enjoy on the bottom floor, included in the room rate. The staff are very friendly helpful and go out of their way to assist you with everything (eg train timetables). The English.
all reviews » The service at this hotel went above and beyond. When we asked for a recommendation of a good sushi restaurant, the concierge actually ran out to a place, got us a table, and then walked us there! Impressive. The place is lovely--much nicer than even the photos could illustrate-- and in a great location, near trains, shops, and great restaurants. The public baths are wonderful, and a marvelous breakfast was offered...complete with Miles Davis LPs on the turntable. We liked the place so much we . The staff and the owners! They are just so warm and helpful. The complimentary Japanese breakfast. Clean Japanese room with comfortable futon beds. Close to the a subway station and a JR station, both within 10 minutes' walk. Safe and nice neighbourhood. The common room in basement that comes with massage chairs, chess sets. The public bath next to it. Another small room next to it that comes with washing machines and a microwave oven. The hotel seemed to have paid attention to all details. The room was immaculate, provided wifi and laptops. The spa was clean, had enough amenities. Such a relaxing experience. The staff was always so accommodating, asking if anything was needed and offering guidance on options of things to do. I could not have more happy with this hotel. Even the breakfast was amazing, and the breakfast staff was so personal and caring. The hotel was located in an area that is away from the hustle and bustle of the main city, yet convenient enough for us to get to e.g. Shinjuku in 10mins by the JR rapid line. The small double room was small indeed, but fully equipped and was kept very neat and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Also free wifi throughout the hotel was really useful. Breakfast was simple but really tasty. This hotel is one of the nicest hotels in town! I had a room in Japanese style - it was very comfortable. Also I want to mention the friendly staff! In the Morning there is lovely breakfast in the Japanese style - very tasty! (there is natto too! Love it!) When I check out the hotel stuff gave me a small souvenir to remember! I'd like to live there in my next Tokyo visit!. Staff were very friendly and generous with their time. Front desk went the extra mile to organise a tour to the Toshiba Museum for me. Breakfast included was a nice option that most hotels didn't offer in japan. Efficient and courteous staff. We, 4 adults, stay at approximate 20-22 square meters room with Japanese bed style. The room is little bit small for 4 adults. Nothing ;). Room is tiny. The bath was average. No wireless internet in rooms, internet was only available in the reception. Mats not quite thick enough. Challenging to find. Breakfast: maybe some fruti or at least fruit juice would do.
