  This property is good design and very clean with luxury furniture , so many accessories , easy to access. Good for city shopping or ski sport in winter.   The hotel has excellent public and private onsen. Food was great and staff very helpful and friendly. It was s bit on the expensive side but then we paid for quality. From the moment we drove to the hotel driveway to checking out, the service provided was par excellent! We left behind a blazer and some clothings when we checked out and the staff ... what people say » arranged for them to be shipped to our next hotel. I didn't expect to see my favourite blazer again so it was a nice surprise! - after travelling in Japan for a week, it is nice to have some real english speaking staff! Natsumi Tamagai went out of her way to make us feel welcomed and accomodate our requests:) Give that woman a beer!

Ample of parking spaces at only 500 yen per day free wifi overall one the best hotels I stayed in Japan so far - After a minor problem we where conducted to a suberb room, extremely well conceived, a room not only big, but with a wonderful view from the living room and the bathroom. The kitchen is fully furnished, we had breakfast in the morning sitting in a very nice veranda. An Hakodate is a place to visit. Finally, the hotel is extremely well located, in between the station and the historical district.

  Run by husband and wife, Mori and Yoko, Clydesdale was simply charming. Comfortable rooms, super neat and tidy, and the set dinners are absolutely delicious! 5 courses for Y25,000. Much better option than the overrun resorts just up the street, highly recommend.
