    Amazing place! Excellent closeup view of the lake at an affordable price with reasonablr comfort. Rooms spacious and extremely clean. Excellent staff (i think its family owned and we had asked about good hiking routes. the lady owner speaks excellent english and offered to show us the way by car to our endpoint gor us to park our car, and then dro... what people say » pped us off at the starting point! Excellent onsen! With both open air and indoors. Free parking. Free and strong wifi - It is a japanese ryokan, guest were mostly japanese. The facilty is a bit old but they have free onsen pools indoor and out door 24 hours! It was very near to attractions and they have a well stock pub with sake and whiskies...friendly staff but few spoke english...but it was not a problem as they were so friendly and helpful.

    Right on the lake Akan the hotel has great lake and mountain views, particularly from the hot spring pool and swimming pool on the roof. The dinner and breakfast buffets had a wide selection of delicious food and drinks. - very excellent breakfast I like very mach and staff very good he help me about delay my baggage.I shall come again and introd... what people say » uce my friend

    Really like the mountain view with the onsen. Once in a lifetime experience! Recommended.
