  Amazing place there! The dinner in the room is fabulous, and at 8:45 p.m. can see the HANA-BI(fireworks) both in the room and around the lake, there are also Natsu-matsuri in the summer nights. Very awesome - Lake Toya Hotels are located in front of a very large bay - a scenic area with many boat operators looking for customers. At 8.45pm, lots of fireworks are lit from the bay which are enjoyed by many folk. Your tariff includes dinner and breakfast - dinner is an authentic Japanese meal and is excellent. If you notify the hotel of your arrival time, they will meet you at the station - the hotel is located about 4-5 miles from the station. They will also shuttle customers back to the station

  We had a canal view room (the otaru canal is just across the road). I like the room very much, it's clean and spacious, toilet and bath room are separated.   The room was clean and nice with free multi-charger for my phone. There were also free onsen for men/women. The kids love going to the onsen. The free ramen at 9.30 pm everyday was delicious and the buffet breakfast was good with wide selections. The counter staff was very helpful with the city map and directions.
