This is my favorite hotel so far during our trip in Japan. This is a
lodge in the mountains, so don't expect luxury (we had shared
bathrooms) or a traditional japanese ryokan-like hotel. That said, the
lodge was clean and the beds were comfortable. What made this place
special was the cozy atmosphere and beautiful location in the mountains.

The staff couldn't have been friendlier. This Ryokan is a great authentic experience that I would highly recommend to anyone. It is reasonably priced as Ryokans go and feels like a little piece of Japenese luxury.
