  This is my favorite hotel so far during our trip in Japan. This is a lodge in the mountains, so don't expect luxury (we had shared bathrooms) or a traditional japanese ryokan-like hotel.   The staff couldn't have been friendlier. This Ryokan is a great authentic experience that I would highly recommend to anyone. It is reasonably priced as Ryokans go and feels like a little piece of Japenese luxury.
