  We liked the Japanese traditional accommodations. The staff was very helpful with directions and even called our taxi driver when my son left his watch in the room when we had already checked out. The tatami sleepers for 5 was fun for our family although slightly uncomfortable at first. Although for smaller kids it might be too much of a walk. - Sleep well, and the equipment is fine at this hotel. They will write your name in front of the hotel, that makes me feel good. I think he waited for our coming after I confirmed arrival time because while we were walking to find Ryokan and almost getting lost, he called us from in front of Ryokan. I was so impressed. I got a big clean room with garden view and not close to the street so it was quite and peaceful. This room is what I think when stay in ryokan. Love it.

  Good location, very easy to walk to main shopping area and metro stations. The public bath is very good so we choose not to take bath in the bathroom of our rooms. We stayed three days and they managed three different breakfast courses, all of them very nice.   Great location and service. A secluded, traditional Japanese experience for the western-world traveler who wants something off the tourist path. Nearby temple is a must see at fall. It was great. - We stayed in the room with private outdoor bath because we are not comfortable with the public bath. Overall the place is nice, staffs are friendly and the meals are excellent.
