  Gora is a beautiful place to stay while in Hakone and the Merveille is a nice hotel. The staff are warm, friendly and speaks English or tries their very best to assist you. The indoor onsen is great and has all you need to enjoy and relax in the hot pool. The breakfast was sumptuous and the amenities in the room was amazing.   We arrived in thick fog with not much of a visibility. The good thing was that there was someone from the hotel with our name in a list who met us at the bus stop and showed the way. The hotel is in a good, quiet location close to the main street but not directly on it. The post office, port with sightseeing boats, a few stores and restaurants are... what people say » fairly close. You can use the onsen which is open almost 24/7. In the morning, we were served a fairly elaborate Japanese-style breakfast. - I like the service of the hotel crew, they are very friendly and good service. Although most of the crew do not speak much English but they'll try to help.
