Really nice rooms, breakfast and staff. So convenient for the main sights: it must be just about at the epicentre of Venice - no kidding! Less than 5 minute walk to Rialto and St Marks. Bar and restaurant just next door were great too. Cleanliness of room, beautiful new modern bathroom, plenty of towels, elegant decor, helpful and courteous desk staff, breakfast served in room. all reviews »
Hotel was recommended by work colleague, so we chose it for this reason. Excellent location, small and friendly and very comfortable. Staff, very nice and helpfull ! Very nice breakfast in the room. While the hotel is very small (or boutique as they prefer to say) bith my partner and I agreed that it represented great value for money. The rooms were immaculate and tasteful and the breakfast in bed (at no extra charge) was the icing on the cake. The location was great too! We'll stay here again..defo!. We came from London and compared to the shoebox we had there, this hotel was like the nearby Doge Palace !! Staff were also very friendly and helpful, really appeared that they genuinely wanted to make your stay pleasant.Excellent position, quiet and yet close to Rialto bridge and San Marco piazza. very friendly staff who all tried to give excellent service, excellent location near St Marks square.Tea and coffee in room would have been a bonus. I get the impression that very few similar hotels in Venice provide this. The maid should knock at least two times on the door :)). The view from our room was a wall, but as you get to know venice you'll realise that this is unavoidable. Not really - and unfortunately we got to see a fair bit of the hotel room - it pelted down rain for 2 days unfortunately !!. too firm pillows!. stairways. room size and bathroom smaller than expected but did not spoil the stay. Some tea/coffee making facilities would have been nice.

palazzo and is located behind St Mark's Square in one of the
oldest and smallest streets in the city, in the heart of a lively
and authentically Venetian area with many workshops, resta-
urants and pubs.

an ideal starting-point to discover, in a single walkabout, all
the city's attractions.
Relais Venezia's style, the result of a meticulous restoration
finished in 2005, owes itself to the combination of old and

FROM PIAZZALE ROMA ( Bus Terminal)
FORM SANTA LUCIA ( Train Station):
By steamer (public transport service) Line 82 or Line 1
through the Grand Canal to San Marco ( Vallaresso stop)
From Piazzale Roma or from Train Station take Line 82
or Line 1 vaporetto and get off at the Vallaresso ( San Marco
stop). Head right along the side of the Giardini Reali until you
come to the Columns of SanMarco and San Teodoro, the entr-
ance to Piazza San Marco.
Cross the whole square walking next to the Doge Palace and
the Basilica of San Marco. After the Basilica you will come to
Piazzetta dei Leoncini on your right. From there ( behind the
Basilica) you will find CALLE DELL' ANZOLO ( or Calle
dell'Angelo), walk along Calle dell'ANZOLO and then
cross the Ponte dell'Anzolo.
From Ponte dell'Angelo you will find CALLE CASSELLERIA,
then turn on your right, Relais Venezia is right there at number
5285, Calle Casselleria 5285.
FROM MARCO POLO AIRPORT:
The international airport Marco Polo is situated in Tessera, 7
miles by car and 6 miles by motorboat from Venice.
From Tessera Marco Polo Airport take the water bus ALI-
LAGUNA to Piazza San Marco, water stop SAN ZACCARIA.
From San Zaccaria take the big bridge on your left ( Ponte
della Paglia just in front of the famous Ponte dei Sospiri)
and walk along next to the Doge Palace and the Basilica of San
Marco.
Behind the Basilica you will find CALLE DELL' ANZOLO, from
there walk along Calle dell' ANZOLO ( or Calle dell'Angelo)
and then cross the Ponte dell' ANZOLO.
From Ponte dell'Angelo you will find CALLE CASSELLERIA,
then turn on your right, Relais Venezia is right there at number
5285, Calle Casselleria 5285.
From the Airport and the 2 Terminals you can take a private
water TAXI to the Hotel in Calle Casselleria 5285 or Calle
Dell'Angelo. It will bring you right to the hotel entrance.
You are advised to agree a price before embarking and to check
that the taxi is authorised to carry passengers (it should have
yellow stripe on the sides and carry a concession number). The
price is abut 80-90 Euros.
