Everything! The hotel is so elegant and functional. My husband, 6'4" was so comfortable with the size of the bedroom and bathroom, including a bed larger than a king size. Very unusual for Italy.

The computer desk for guests was down the entire time we were there. However, Katherine at the front desk, lead us to a special room and let us use the computer in there. Everything is possible at the Grande Hotel Vesuvio!

the staff were very attentive but not intrusive. location was just spot on. we had a room with a view over harbour but on side street whic h was reasonably quiet. in fact this is a very well sound proofed hotel, we slept very well. the roof top restaurant was superb, just what we expected wirth the view.

drinks were a bit pricey but we kept telling ourselves we were paying for the experience having to leave, this was a fabulous 3 night break for my husbands 50th

The Grande Hotel Vesuvio is truly grand! It is an elegant top of the line hotel with a friendly and helpful staff. We were upgraded to a suite upon arrival and had two large rooms beautifully furnished. They supply their guests with comfy terry robes and slippers and nice toiletries. Wi fi was free. The rooms are kept very clean also. We had a balcony on the front of the hotel and looked out on the waterfront with its boats, a castle that is lit at night, and Vesuvius looming in the distance. This was a delightful hotel well located on a boulevard that is pedestrian friendly.

The restaurant in the hotel is pricey, but there are so many restaurants in this area one can easily find other eateries. The mini bar items are priced high, so watch out!

The hotel staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful; the room was very comfortable, the location was terrific, and the restaurant on the roof was excellent, with a excellent menu and wine list and a nice view of the old castle and port.

Very well equipped bedroom and bathroom made you feel very pampered .

Having to pay extra for use of pool , also formality of roof restaurant meant no admittance without jacket . Also not allowed there unless eating in restaurant .

Great position, very quiet due to main road being closed off since last visit to Napes (frequenty traveller to this city). Roooms well sound poroffed, greta view of Vesuivus and Santa Lucia and Marina

All add on charges for Wi fi, etc, breakfast very expensive. Door handle to entrance door became loose other doors had same problems. Maid asking to turn down beds at 10.25pm and change towels at 8.30pm which had been done earlier in day.

Staff were very attentive and helpful. A good few politicians and movie stars have stayed there too. Easy to stroll along teh promenade to the centre of Naples. Great view of the 'egg caste'

The room was great, very grand. The breakfast was superb- mozerella and tomato salad great in the morning

The reception could have been a little more helpful when we were planning our travels to nearby Amalfi

The staff were extremely helpful and polite and courteous. The room was excellent, clean and comfortable. The location is perfect both for ease of access to the shopping areas, local restaurants, sights and views.

Located by corniche where nice to walk there with many restaurants , they got fair spa. Gourmet restaurant on top flooy with amazing view.

They charged me for using spa and swiming pool :( I requested to wash & press my shirt but they only press it.

The location. Not that great for shopping or walking around as it was a bit far from the main sites or the hop-on/hop-off tour bus.

that one has to pay extra to use the pool and health facilities. For the room prices it should have been included. It was a rip-off in that respect.

Expensive charges for Wi-Fi (we have decided to no longer stay in hotels that don't provide free Wi-Fi) Charges for items not on buffet eg fried eggs Euro 6, Oatmeal Euro % - basic items haven't seen this before. Concierge not helpful - gave us only one brochure when asking for tour ideas. Charges also for sauna and spa. For a hotel of this class and price all above should be free.

The hotel was beautiful and the staff friendly and attentive .

The spa facilities were excellent and as usual treatments were at an extra cost . I do however think that use of the indoor pool should be complimentary . The web site also mentions the roof terrace with fantastic views !! my friends and I thought we would be enjoying a cocktail or two on said roof terrace . Unfortunately we were told we could only be up there if we were dining in the hotel !!

the front desk sent us to the main floor bar for complimentary coffee and sweets while we waited for our room to be available; the balcony view of the harbour was outstanding and certainly worth the additional small cost; staff throughout the hotel was excellent (especially Lawrence at the front desk).

The stay at the Grand Hotel Vesuvio was extraordinary. The hotel was exceptional, the service and staff were impeccable. I highly recommend the Hotel. I thought of everything including an wide assortment of amenities. Breakfast was well done, tasty as well as attentive service.

We stayed in a classic double room with sea view! Absolutely amazing! Amazing view of the ocean and all the goings on! The nightlife was amazing in the restaurant area across from the hotel! If you are going to stop in Naples for a night then Grand Vesuivio is a must!!

The location was great and in beautiful surroundings close to the waterfront. We requested a high floor with a view on a regular double room and they gave us a beautiful room with French doors leading out to a small balcony with great views of the marina on the 7th floor. The standard dbl room was large and they gave turn down service. Fantastic bathroom for European stds with large soaking tub. Beautiful restaurant view on roof top.

We left the guys at home and did a sister trip across Italy, which commenced in Naples. This classy five star hotel was a fabulous way to deal with jet lag! Arriving a bit earlier than expected, the hotel staff treated us to cappuccino and cake while they readied our beautiful corner room complete with a spectacular view of the Castel dell'Ovo. Immaculate service, a bathroom filled with lovely spa products and fresh crisp linen sheets donned the bed nightly. We had a superb meal at the Hotel the first night and purchased the breakfast option—which was a wonderful way to go, as the breakfast was lovely. Basically everything about the hotel was top notch including the concierge—for each of their suggestions wasw absolutely wonderful and we felt totally at ease there. Unfortunately due to our limited stay we did not have the opportunity to use the spa/pool or some of the other amenities, but we totally enjoyed everything we had a chance to use

Wonderful classy hotel. Location in front of Castel dell'Ovo was unbeatable.Great room, spacious and good products. But the "pièce de résistance " were the linen sheets that were fresh everyday. Although we did not reserve a room with sea view, we had partial sea view that was really nice.WiFi although not free was reasonable at 30 eur for the complete stay of 1 week. Staff was really cooperative and helpful.

Your wifi charges are far too expensive and the service should be free. Your breakfast is poor for the price. It is not good value for money Room 435 At least 2 and maybe 3 of the 240 volt power points were un useable due to damage Noisy Taxis all night in the taxi rank
