The location was extremely convenient to major Dublin sites. It was very
quiet at night (I stayed previously in the Temple Bar area and the
revelry at night made it impossible to sleep). Breakfast was excellent.
Staff (at reception desk, dining room, and housekeeping) were friendly
and super-helpful. WiFi connection was very strong. Room was
comfortable. Area very safe. Is across the street from the Gate teater

The lady in the reception is just amazing. She offered me immediately a
discount and apologized when realized that the room I booked was not the
one I saw in the site. I had a shared bathroom but definitely is a very
clean place to stay and somehow you feel that you are in home. She is
very helpful too, giving information on everything. I do not have rich
experience of guest houses and B&B but this is really good. Value
for money +++. and the owner just perfect.

The guesthouse was 24 hours, somebody stayed up all night to let guests in. We went to an Eminem concert and returned at 2am with no problems what so ever. I found Egans to be the best possible combination of a 'chain' hotel and a private guest house. It was comfortable - especially the communal lounge area - clean, and nicely decorated, with very helpful staff. My room had everything I needed and was very good value for my 30 euros. The buffet breakfast set me up nicely for the rest of the day. O

We rented a room for 5 people. It was a full size bed, and 3 twin beds crammed together in a very small room. We only stayed one night here, so being crammed together one night was no big deal. We had our own bathroom plus there was a public bathroom right outside of our door. The lady at the desk was very helpful and informative. She told us of our various options of getting into the city, which is a good distance away.

Martin was very friendly, helpful, and really went above and beyond
expectations. After booking a day tour, we realized our bags would need
to be left at the B&B after checkout. Martin offered to keep them
into the evening and even offered the room until our flight time. He
cooked a wonderful breakfast each day and made excellent dining and
attraction advice. We would stay again in a heartbeat!

The manager John and all of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Nothing was to much trouble for them to do.
