Absolutely loved this hotel! Was weighing up whether to stay at the Westbury or her and we were so glad we picked the Shelbourne! It is just in a class of its own and seems to have more on at night too. You could just sit in the elegant foyer and people-watch all day! Every room had a parking space alotted to it... Was close to the cityonly cost €15 for taxi and they were continously passing the door. Theresidents bar was brilliant and alot cheaper than dublin prices!!! Andthere was no real closing time aslong as we didnt get too round. One ofthe most comfortable bed i've ever slept in! And great value for money

If we were going back to dublin we would definetely stay again - The room was fantastic with an excellent power shower. Swimming pool, saunas and jacuzzi were brilliant. I would definately stay at this hotel again. Close enough to have a flat 10 minute walk to temple bar area or short bus ride (Stop is outside the hotel) but just far enough away to not be disturbed at night. Very quiet, good breakfast.
