The hostel lived up to my expectations. The staff is young and friendly. The good points are the location, heating, cleaning and reception 24 hours a day, and also the private car park. -

It is a quiet hotel ideally located close to the city centre but far enough from it. Rooms were spotless facilities better than expected and staffed by very friendly staff. Well run well managed. I had to stay an extra night but the staff were superb and it was no more than a stroke of a pen and I was sorted. Well done to the owners excellent hotel

The staff is patient, knowledgable and very accommodating. The other guests with whom I shared the room were quiet and considerate. Excellent value. I was worried about all the reports on noise, but it didn't bother me at all. It is fairly clear that it is going to be noisy anyway. Anyone complaining about this has been warned by other reviews and by the hotel's own website. It is ideal for anyone on a budget. Drinks were 2.50 at the bar and a large selection of meals from 6euro. If you prefer to be part of the party this place is great for you.

We were first time in Dublin and really loved this hotel! Easy to find (bus 14,15a,b,c, 83 etc stops near) and it's overall really cosy hotel! Just 20-30min walk from downtown, really nice pubs and food places alongside road! We stayed there 3 nights.
Staff was friendly and helpful and Irish Breakfeast (eggs, bacon, toast etc) was served to tables

Uppercross House Hotel was perfect, although i stayed only one night. They will provide you with everything you might expect from a hotel of this price (and even more): Friendly staff, 24h reception, very tasty breakfast included with plenty of choices to go with, daily newspaper, room was very comfortable, lots of space in the bathroom, taxi station just across the street, not noisy at all. Took me about 15-20 minutes walking to the center of Dublin. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

I recently stayed at Abigail's for 3 days with my wife and 4 year son. Abigail's located at heart of the city close to restaurants, shopping, bars and pick-up points for most tours. Staff is very friends. Breakfast consisting of break, butter, jam, coffee, yoghurt, eggs, milk and cereals is included. Free wi-fi is included though it was very weak

I was there for two days. I really liked the location of this place. Walking distance to almost every other place. The staff are really friendly and nice,ready to help. The security there is also high. The place is very clean too. I was at some other hostel to see a friend and trust me,it wasn't half as nice as Abigail's. It was the first statement I made immediately I could manage to. All in all, it is a very very nice place to stay.
Plus,breakfast was very good.
