Tha - The Radisson Blu 1919 is centrally located in downtown Reykjavik -- couldn't ask for a better location. Just a block away from the pedestrian area, and from the bus stop. The staff were always helpful and friendly in every way possible. Always. The rooms were very clean, with ample space. The breakfast buffet was really outstanding -- plenty of wonderful variety from which to choose. We felt very welcomed at all times here. That means a lot to us as travelers.   Hotel has been re-done recently and has an impressive lobby (with free internet pc's available). The rooms are decorated very well and there is a good information book in your room. The duvets are divine!! Staff are very friendly and efficient in booking the flybus back to airport - Very positive staff.   All of the reception personnel were extremely gracious and helpful. Nothing ever seemed to be too much trouble. They answered questions, confirmed tours, made phone calls to check on things in other towns, made great suggestions about places to eat and buy things, and gave directions to get around.
