  We had an excellent stay at the Budapest residence! It started when we arrived terribly late as we were caught in a snow storm driving from Krakow and did not arrive until 2am. The concierge (I believe his name was Peter or Paul - sorry!) Was so friendly and greeted us like we arrived at 2 in the afternoon! He happily took us to our room, showed u... what people say » s around and even went to the parking lot around the corner and waited for the guy to arrange a space for us! The flat was very open and spacious, dec - The apartments are equipped with everything you need for a short vacation or a long stay. The metro station is 5 mins walk away, as are the starting points for all the tourists hop-on buses. It is located within the gozsdu court where there are nice cafes and bars around. The artists market is also fun to walk through. The staff helped us with information on the sights and transport and even got us discounts on some bookings.

  Stayed at the hotel. Had free wi-fi, based in the center of the shopping area, does a free breakfast from 7 - 10. Rooms large for the central location and well kitted out.   For the price the hotel was suitable. However the room was quite different from description at the time of booking - no bath and small room. I am nearly sure they also mentioned a kitchen area. I liked the location it was about a 15-20 walk from the very center of the city which I liked, it was in a trendy neighborhood and the walk was very enjoya... what people say » ble but again on the description it stated it was in the city center. Therefore a good location for young couples. However it was very clean and good - Stayed there for the second time. After visiting other hotels at a higher rate with less convenience, I found this hotel was quite a good one. If you reach there by train, take m2 and just one stop to Blaha Lujza ter. Walk along Jozsef korut towards Baross U. Take about 10 mins. If you reach by plane, take bus no. 200E from airport to the last stop. Then take the metro m3 to station Kalvin ter. About 7-min walk to reach the hotel.

  We couldn't have been happier with our apartment. A group of 10 split between two two-bed apartments- ours was spacious, clean and with all the mod cons. The staff were really helpful and friendly - especially Gabor - and were willing to help with directions, cabs and weren't annoyed when the other group paid a bit later.   The owner was very friendly and helpful. The place was really elegant, tidy and quiet, the rooms were perfect and the breakfast was delicious. The accomodation is in beautiful surroundings, quite close to the city centre which can be reached easily by public transportation (bus), or it's also a good way to approach the city walking along the Danub... what people say » e. (Or there's also a possibility to borrow bikes from the owner). Least but not last, I loved the coffee here! - The owner is very friendly, and the rooms are very clean. This place is the island of peace, a bit of elegance and romanticism. It's absolutely worth its price.

The breakfast in the morning is another highlight. - We had a wonderful stay at Kalmar Pensio. It is a beautiful 120 year old mansion comverted into a Pension in an excellent location. It is very near the Chain Bridge in Budapest, right behind the Gellert Baths and so easily accessible to all major sightseeing venues yet in a residential area. The Manager, Ester made us very welcome and was very informative and helpful. We had a huge room with a lovely balcony overlooking the garden and a huge bathroom! What more could you ask for?!
