It was clean, comfortable and well situated in terms of transport etc...It definitely good value for money!. Friendly efficient staff'; decent breakfast and location is excellent.Very comfortable room, great location, hearty breakfasts and amazing value for money. A wide variety of choice. The ham and eggs filled the plate. Choice of fruit,salad, cereal, yogurts, meats and cheeses. Fruit juices, range of coffees and teas. Easy to find as it was on the river. Nice to wake up in the morning and see the ice floes drifting past. The cabin/room ... The special excellent value dinners for guests. The Boat Hotel is located perfectly on the Danube, with easy walking access to the main areas of the city centre, and train/tram services if neccessary. Living on the boat makes for a nice novelty if you are bored with regular hotels.Location was great. The air conditioning at night wasn't great; hot then cold then hot. Also the windows don't open, but it is a boat after all. But I knew about this when I was booking as it was a common comment in the reviews that I had read before booking.The room window cannot be opened. This can be a little bitt anoying. The TV wasn't working.Although the twin room that we had was well decorated with a new TV and new furniture, the bed was aliitle narrow,probably a two foot six and the duvet was a little short for a six footer. Possibly the smallness of the shower area, but clearly this is a ship cabin and not a "normal" hotel room.Terrace was not open to enjoy the view. the inside lights weren't always on and as a result we had difficulty finding our room, as the corridors were quite long and dark. Rooms and beds were too small. Location, more than half an hour walk to get to city centre. low cellings - traditional on boats. There were some downsides of the Boat Fortuna. Firstly, the hotel rooms had no openable window, and as such, even though it was winter time, with 2 in a room it became very hot and stuffy by morning time. There is also a strong "boat" smell onboard, specifically in the rooms where there is no ventilation. Overall however, for a nice short getaway the hotel is pleasant and laid back.The air conditioning, although on, did not do anything. The in room fridge was the same.
