As we went to Croatia by car, we stopped in Budapest going and coming back. After the first experience in the hotel, we wanted to return. We booked a larger suite (silver) and when we got there they upgraded us to a gold suite free of charge. That's an upgrade from a 200 euro room to a 500 euro room. I give it an A+ on all counts. Pest was great for shopping, eating out and drinking. We went to the Holocaust Museum, the National History Museum and the Royal Palace. It is a beautiful city, we went for three days but there was enough to keep us there for two weeks.
